Warriors did look like a team that is playing second game of back to back game, and they couldn't hit anything from outside. Other than Davis, Richardson and Diogu, nobody really produced at offense end, and that's why we milked Davis and Richardson to death. Still, both produced when it's needed, and we stopped four straight positions when the game was stuck at 73-70. Houston clearly didn't have much offense other than TMac and occassional productions from Swift and Howard due to all injuries, and they struggled to put the point against one of the worst, if not the worst, defensive team in NBA. Still, they almost pulled off the miracle at the end, but just came up short...

Good win. Even when they had that 13 point lead, I kept thinking back to what happened last time. Luckily it didn't happen.

After McGrady's performance against the Spurs, a lead is never safe with him on the floor.

Another nice win, lets keep it going to make up for that losing streak.

T-Mac is amazing...too bad he's injury prone. I mean, what he did in the waning seconds of the game were amazing...AND HE WAS INJURED!

This win is actually bigger than yesterday's because it shows the W's can build on wins. I EXPECT the W's to win against Memphis; the Indiana game will be challenging, but at least it's at home.

I think it will be the opposite. Memphis is a very good team, probably statistically the best defensive team in the NBA, and we are on the road. The Pacers are struggling without Artest and we'll be at home.

Yes, but Memphis just lost their starting point guard, Damon Stoudamire, for the year...Injuries suck, but as long as they're not the W's, it's all gravy.

Wow great win! Thx for the preview AP.

I guess this whole Ike Diogu starting is really helping the Warriors, eh. [IMG] Obviously Baron Davis and Jason Richardson are the stars, but Ike is a breath of fresh air when it comes to big men.

He just does the little things which is what the Warriors need and he provides toughness, energy, hustle, and skill. I love the guy.

I would hardly call tweaking your ankle being injured. T-Mac was amazing for the last six minutes of the game, however he was quite horrible for the first 42. I mean heck if it wasn't for his horrible shot selection and missed free-throws, the game would have been close throughout. If you want to see my rant on Tracy McGrady please go here.

To start the game he got fouled, and while he was at the line he was talking and laughing and missed both free throws and then laughed about it as he ran down court. I couldn't believe it.

Is it possible that Mike Dunleavy could be traded for Ron Artest ??

I thought Mike played well yesterday. He played pretty good D and grabbed boards. It was a good road win.Is Jackson 100% healthy in Memphis? I personally think he's a better point guarrd that Stoudamire anyway.

There are a lot of topics that talk about Artest coming to the Warriors. You should have asked in one of those threads.

I don't know Dunleavy played well, considering that he only scored 4 pts. But, he did well at defense end against TMac in first half. Sure, TMac did sprained his ankle and Richardson guarded TMac in 4th quarter, but I was surprised to see Dunleavy guarding TMac at the beginning. Now only if his offense comes around...

In theory, Dunleavy can be traded if you construct a perfect package, like Dunleavy and Foyle for Artest and Foster, and Indiana is willing to waste their 2.6 mil exception for Dunleavy. In reality, any GM who accept a player, who scores 1 pts per 1 mils and serious defense liability should be fired immidiately. Not only that, in order to construct a perfect package, Indiana have to accept TWO long term contracts, and Indiana want none of them. Realistic trade may be Pietrus, Biedrins, Cheaney and a pick for Artest and filler at this point.

Will Diogu be a good rebounder in the future? He certainly is physical, and he has a knack to annoy anybody who guards Diogu. But, in terms of stats (48 mins scale), Diogu is worse rebounder than Zarko so far. Certainly, his size is a problem, but if he gets stronger, he will establish his position like Fortson, instead of being pushed around like right now, and he may be a good rebounder in the future. After all, he possesses atlatism and long arms...

I think Ike could get more boards, but he's boxing out and the other stat guys are getting to the ball. I think He's trying to stay on Monty's good side now. As for Dunleavy, the team was up 10-15 without him finding his shot, I think he played well.

Yeah, Diogu does hustle and let other guys get the rebound. But, Diogu needs to do more than that to improve our ball club. We are dead last at rebounding difference. I can only hope Diogu will improve his rebounding as he builds his experience. Also, I hope to see Warriors feed Diogu once in a while. Speaking of rebound, Murphy is getting less than 9 rebounds per game. And, this year, he is healthy. It's a mystery.

As for Dunleavy... I don't know exactly what to do with him. Till last year, my problems with Dunleavy is actually toward management who pampered Dunleavy from the day one. I was content with Dunleavy and his improvement. But for this season, it's like a sunshine for one day and storm for next 2 days, and I am getting frustrated with Dunleavy as a player.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?statsId=3601

Because nobody knows what we are getting from Dunleavy, Monty usually plays Dunleavy for first 6 mins and decide whether he will stick with Dunleavy or not. If we have Pietrus, this inconsistancy can be covered somewhat. But, with our contract situation, it would take a miracle for us to keep Pietrus. And, I am starting to believe that Dunleavy expects to run plays for him because he will get 9 mils per year. If that's the case, he really needs to watch Warriors game films, including his performances in the game.

Will his outside jumper ever come back? Grant that he never was a great outside shooter, and it's really disturing to see him not improving his outside jumper, when players like Richardson and Jamison improved their jumpers dramatically as their career goes on. But, if any, he should be a spot up shooter for this club. Even Davis shook up his shooting slump in Nov.

Man, I sound like a grumpy old man...
