other than the fact that they want marvin harrison to progress i dont see why they want to trade him (unless he told them hes not gunna resign) i was watching him against the nets yesterday him and jj are real good toghether and hes a solid player

Duce from RealGM who has a source in the Sixers org. said that the Hawks wanted to trade Al Harrington for Ollie and Hunter but then they started to win and the talks were over.

Al Harrington is a solid young veteran, he isnt needed in the ATL though. Had the Hunter/Ollie deal gone through it would've meant big things for the Hawks, they would've had a better defensive big man, more room for Marvin, and and expiring in Ollie if Im not mistaken.
I like Al, but hope they trade him for Earl Watson (or a similar PG). Atlanta aren't going to go anywhere with their current roster, so someone has to be sacrificed. The obvious one is Harrington.
Agreed. Face facts....Atlanta is another lottery bound team who has finally started to build by getting JJ to come. Now it's time to really build something credible around him and as much as big Al plays well with Joe....he is the only real piece of trade bait Atlanta has. I'll be at the game next Monday again when the Knicks come into town....Big blue better win this time!
