well, its past the new years, but only just a day pasted, so i dont think it would matter much. anyways, here is some things that i think the sixers should consider as new year resolution for the whole team. 1. AI has to get his teamates involved better. i know he is a great player but he has to stop shooting the ball a lot and understand that there is other players on this team with offense other than C-Webb 2. other players besides our dynamic duo has to stop standing there and watch AI and C Webb play the game. they have to move around and call for the ball and get themselves involved and not rely on AI to give them the ball 3. better coaching, simply put. mo cheeks has to do a better job getting into the players head and stop being mr. nice guy because so far it aint working. 4. players have to listen to the coach. at one game, im sure that the coach told c webb to sit and rest and then c webb gave him an F U stare and went back into the game. im sure this happened. 5. stop playing soft. sammy is good at boards and blocking but he has to play better D and bang inside more. i know he has a skinny frame, so my advice to him? hit the weights. 6. better team chemistry. i know most of you have heard the conflict in the locker room with john salmons and the snickers and stuff. that cant happen. players have to incourage each other, not discourage. 7. start out strong, get the lead, and KEEP THE LEAD, which is something the sixers really suck at. if i can think of more, ill post some them later. you all can give us some thoughts as to how they can get better after a horrendous start to a season filled with high hopes.
As for #1, I agree with you, but AI stil has the tendency to not pass the ball to some guys if they struggle early on in the game. #4: It wasn't involving Mo Cheeks, and you have the situation all wrong. One of the assistant coaches flat out said to Cheeks (in front of Webber) that Webber's defense "sucks," and some more degrading comments, and Webber said something back. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but you can't blame Webber for that. Either way, it's more than just AI and Webber having to listen to the coaches. I think they are doing their job... the rest of the guys need to step it up offensively on a consistent basis, and everybody on the team needs to step it up defensively. #6: The situation was resolved. I agree with everything else.
