Let's have more history made tonight. 3-0. Yes. Hope that Baron/JRich can dominate Stoudamire/Eddie Jones and that Warriors can control tempo over the slow down Grizzlies. I say make Gasol score 40 to win and forget double teams.

This game is frustrating to watch. Too many whistles. But, Memphis is ery well organized team, and they make this game look like number of privates going against well organized army...
man..gasol straight up burned everyone warriors guarding him except for taft for the most part. Murphy no kind of D what so ever
I think it was a mistake to double team Gasol everytime down in the first half. They got so many easy shots. Big reason why they were down so much, not to mention Memphis' physical D. Memphis got a lot of homer calls too though, but wouldn't have made a difference. Nice to see Ellis play well though.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Gohn:</div><div class="quote_post">I think it was a mistake to double team Gasol everytime down in the first half. Make Gasol beat you. Flat out, make him score and lock down on everyone else. Too bad. But I will not throw back a 2-1 road trip through 3 tough stops.
Grizzlies are a good team. We had a tough chance of beating them, but the W's at least fought hard. Also, the defense has become even worse. ech...
I liked the minutes players got. Foyle got DNP as he should be, Ellis and Taft got there minutes, maybe we could use more of Cheaney in this game and less Dunleavy. AB got 15 and Diogu 14... I hope to see more of that in future... to bad it was still a loss...
We sort of need Foyle at backup center. I think since Biedrins is such a lightweight, they need to put him at forward for now. I bet Biedrins's got some offensive game with the ball. He's just not strong enough to do it. He's got great touch with his left hand and maybe he'll work on becoming better with his other hand. Good inside scores can work with either hand. Ike and Taft both score with either hand, I believe. The other guys that do that are Baron Davis and Dunleavy, but we know it's hard for smaller guys to finish in traffic against heavier guys guarding the rim. I know randomness. I jump from idea to idea. But I'm saying Biedrins could be a power forward and not a center and he could be a decent scorer against power forward matchups at 240 lbs.
