Well, due to the horrible condition of the East, despite our 8-21 record, we are only 3.5 games out of the 8th seed which happens to be owned by Orlando. So, if the Knicks can make a little run, we'll be right in the swing of things. Our games in January are against:
    Washington
    Seattle
    @ Cleveland
    Dallas
    Atlanta
    @ Toronto
    Minnesota
    @ Chicago
    Detroit
    New Orleans
    Sacramento
    Orlando
    @ Philadelphia
    @ Atlanta
    L.A. Lakers
With the exception of a few teams like Dallas, Detroit, and Cleveland, all of those teams are around .500 and lower. Now is our time to make a run, especially with most of those games being at home.

Isiah has assembled the wrong team for Larry Brown to ever catch a win streak.

lol? We just grinded out a victory in 3 OT's against one of the best teams in the league, **** what you heard I'm sorry but we do have a legit chance of making a run here as long as LB and the troops stay focused. I wonder if LB is showing the team Torontos record while saying "If you ever end up here again, there will be consequences." EXPECT THE BEST OUT OF OUR GUYS!

It's silly that a team with an 8-21 record is still in contention for the playoffs. They need to start taking the top 16 teams, regardless of conference.

    No we don't?

I'm not saying we're playing great or anything, but I think that our main spark will be Marbury if he and LB are finally on the same page. If he catches fire, I think the teammates will appreciate that he finally showed some emotion, which in turn would fire everyone up. Add the awesome play our rooks have been giving us and we might have something going. I don't think we're in as bad of a situation as the Hornets, the Hawks, or even Boston. If we want to not look like complete stooges we'd better step it up or else we're gonna look retarded when JJ Reddik is dropping 25 on us 4 times a year.

As long as Larry solidifies a lineup and allows these guys to gell we still have a chance. Hey I'm forever the optimist!

The Knicks will win only if they can play Defense. Channing Frye would be the star on this team if he could play good Defense but he can't, once he gets that he'll be a much better player than he is right now. And so the Knicks in turn would be better as well.

Its the Eastern conference, the Raptors are even back in the playoff race there 3.5 games out the 8 spot.

Its absolutely ridiculous that the Raptors are in the playoff race after their 1-15 start. If the Knicks play hard they have a chance to make playoffs especially with the horrid play of other Eastern teams.
