Averaging 16 and 10 since starting in Reef's absence.

Any chance he'll be kept in the starting lineup when Reef gets back?

He seems to give you some much needed rebounding strength, something that was sadly lacking with Abdur-Rahim at the 4.

While reef is definitely a better player, Thomas is no slouch and seems to be alot better for the teams chemistry. The loaded lineup that the Kings began the season with caused a lack of identity. I thought it was going to work but it up being a huge mess and one of the biggest surprises of the season. Shareef could also prove to be a valuable scoring spark off the bench, something the kings need desperately.

KT has been showing up everygame. The Kings would have to be mentally disabled to go back to starting Reef. Bring Shareef off the bench and feed him in the post for some bench scoring.

Kenny got his first career triple double. Congrats to him, especially because he's on my fantasy team.

Kenny Thomas was THE MAN in OT against the lakers. Props to him for being aggressive and coming through. But lets please realize this.....luke walton was guarding him. Anyhow, Kenny had a trip dub...PLEASE BRING RAHIM OFF THE BENCH!!!

Id love to see Thomas start in this lineup and SAR come off the bench, but I doubt that will happen. Thomas played pretty good tonight.

Kenny TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT..(My version of Barkley's Ginobliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii). The Kings can just forget about making the playoffs if they dont start him when SAR gets healthy. He's probably one of the best role players in the league, does his job and does whatever it takes for the team to win.

yeah..... ummm.... im gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you here.....

Thomas in fact doesnt do whatever it takes unless he is starting... I see that as a major flaw... He doesnt play well at all unless he is starting while SAR plays well starting or off the bench...and also isnt really bothered by coming off the bench like Thomas is...

But at this point, Thomas is on the team and we need everyone to be playin to the best of their abilities which is why I would start Thomas and bring SAR off the bench even though SAR is a better player all around than Thomas.

That game last night just goes to show you why he is underrated. I'd say so from the beginning that he should have been starting over Rahim due to complementary reasons. With him in there the team is more balanced as well as either Martin/Garcia. Let the offense run through Bibby, Peja and Miller and the Kings will be fine or would have been better off. With Rahim and Wells in the starting five there is too much offense and nobody will go out and do those other things. With Thomas and Garcia/Martin in the starting five the team is much, much more balaned. And then having SAR and Wells come in and play against the 2nd unit would give the Kings a major edge because they would destroy the opposition bench on most nights.

Kenny Thomas is a very good player and is very mobile so he could defend some of the PF's that likes to lurke around the perimeter ala Dirk and KG. He is not very tall but he gives of effort especially on the boards. He averaged a double-double in Philly a couple seasons ago. No reason why he can't get like 13 and 9 for the Kings.
