A New Look to my New Team

Basically i traded kirilenko+dwight howard near christmas time and got josh howard+hinrich+haslem+david west in return

Then i added pieces here and there from waiver wire

Now my team look like this:

PG-Hinrich+maurice williams
SG-Ray Allen+JR smith
SF-Ricky Davis+Josh Howard
PF-Gasol+Troy murphy
C-Zaza

Utility- haslem+fisher (sell him high?)+david west
Bench- lue (sell high?)+steve blake (sell high?)+james jones


i am in a 12 team league...very deep league...
anyways...i traded away star powers for balance..what you guys think of the new team? i know i should have one more C...but etan thomas/haywood/foyle are the only legitimate ones out there in free agent market and they aren't exactly good

any suggestions?

 

That was a terrible trade. Two of the best fantasy players for a few average ones.

 

I understand why you would say that...because on paper it looks horrible

however, before that trade when i had kirilenko and dwight, i OWN the league in rebounds and blocks...by a big margin

We play head to head...and there are 13 categories..and i guess the best way to see is you need at least 7 to win your match up
before the trade, basically owning these two stars means 3 categories (offensive rebounds+rebounds+blocks) i win for sure

HOWEVER

With that line up i am pretty much last in pts, FGM, FTM, FT%, assists (5 categories) and my team struggles mightily with the uncertainty of when kirilenko is going to get injured next?

In return i get underrated players...i figured that david west+haslem...on a normal night, will give me 1.5 of Dwight
Meanwhile, hinrich+josh howard for kirilenko is basically i surrender my blocks but everything else i gain.

But still...to make my team better, suggestions are welcome

 

it's not that bad of a trade, but i usually don't like getting more players than i'm giving up, i'd rather search the FA pool. in reality i think u could have gotten a little bit more for AK47 (Josh + Dwight kinda cancel each other). JR Smith just stopped producing totally, I dropped him, so I would look to move him. Be creative with trades, and just shop around to make ur team to try to dominate 5 cat.

just that my league has many people that are in front of computer everyday...it's hard for me to grab the prime candidates

i have grabbed earl watson recently...i waived JR and added salim stoudamire for a short fix because lue is out...
