"There's no secret formula to winning," he said Tuesday after the Bulls' practice. "You have to defend, rebound, play as a team and play with confidence."

Neither he nor his teammates have given the Bulls consistent production in any of these areas, and they have paid dearly for it with a seven-game skid they hope to break Wednesday night when the struggling Seattle SuperSonics visit under new head coach Bob Hill.

Hinrich, ever a workhouse on defense, is deteriorating on offense before coach Scott Skiles' eyes. In a one-point loss to the Bucks on Monday night, Hinrich scored only three points on 1-for-7 shooting.

His scoring average is down from 15.7 points last season to 13.2. His only recent notable performance came Saturday night when he scored 25 against Phoenix.

"One thing he can do is not appear to be so panicked out there," Skiles said. "There are times when he just looks panicked. [He should] have confidence in himself, shoot the ball when he's open, pass it when he's covered?just the basics of the game.

"Offensively he had some opportunities to be more aggressive and take more control, that he didn't take advantage of."</div>

easier said then done. you give his spot to a rookie and to stop yourself from feeling guilty you start him at the two which is hampering his development and Bens development. CAN WE PLEASE GET A GUARD OVER 6'2 aHHHHHHH!
Gordan is listed at 6'3 but that is a joke he is 6'1 tops he and duhon are the same height. BUt we all know that as of now skiles has no choice but to put hinrich at 2. Its up to pax to get a bigman and some decent sized guards.
