The Miami HEAT announced today that Dorell Wright and Earl Barron have been assigned to the Florida Flame of the NBA Development League. The Flame were assigned as the HEAT?s D-League affiliate prior to the start of the 2005-06 season. </div> http://www.nba.com/heat/news/wright_barron...lame_60103.html from the team and was sent to nbdl, i donno if they still call it nbdl or just the d-leagur now.... but i think dorell is gonna prove his game and kill the dleague cant wait to see how he progresses
Is there a link for this? I cannot say I'm surprised by this move. I wouldn't be surprised if Riley guts all the young talent to add veteran role players to the Heat. It's his MO and it's brought him success in the past. Heat fans shouldn't get too, attached to Wright or Simien, because Riley will trade them for the right piece to the Heat championship puzzle.
another dude was sent to dleague too, earl barron... never even heard of him here is the link http://www.nba.com/heat/news/wright_barron...lame_60103.html
I saw this last night, was a little surprised about sending Dorell Wright down but not Earl Barron. Only Reason Dorell isnt getting playing time right now is because he's behind James Posey, Jason Kapono and sometimes Antoine Walker at the 3, and Dwyane Wade at the 2 so how is he supposed to get playing time.

Wright and Barron came off the bench in a 106-102 loss to the visiting Toros of Austin, Texas. Wright also had three assists and three rebounds. Barron had eight rebounds.</div> Source
