Well, considering the people who vote, it's not a surprise at all.

I remember Vince few years ago led the All Star ballot while only playing 14 games before the All Star game.

First off, most of the chinese who possess access to the net are going to vote Yao in, thus, he's a shoe-in for the game no matter what/when he plays (Not saying that he doesn't it deserve it). Also, T-Mac votes are increasing and that's the reason David Wesley is getting 95000+ votes.

When voting in, people usually tend to vote for the big names. Not everyone who votes is a die-hard follower of the league. They want to vote the big marketable names and exciting players in the league maybe because they recognize them the most, and unfortunately, Bosh is neither right now.

When you are a young guy like Bosh and not as "great" as LeBron James for example in addition to getting no TV time, you won't get any votes. But seriously if he is not going to be a starter then why worry about the votes at all? The guy is having a solid season and could be an All-Star so that's all that matters. But as far as being a starter in the near future, it's not going to be easy. LeBron is basically a lock, so at the end of the day it will be between him and Howard. And if that is really the case, expect Howard to get more votes mainly because he is more flashy and has the potential of an Amare Stoudemire like player.

Thank you, who cares really? Obviously Lebron and JO will be the starters, so what does it matter if he get's votes? Their's no chance of him being Top 2 anyways, and the votes have nothing to do with who gets to be on the bench.
