According to SI.com, Yao Mings has begun light workouts, and he expects to return in 2-3 weeks. That is a pretty good news for the Rockets. If Rockets can keep playing as well as they do in the latest 2 games, the additon of Yao Ming will make Rockets play in the same level as Spurs or Piston. What do you guys think? [IMG]

[IMG] Same level as the Spurs & Pistons!!!???Don't think so, we'll be better but you're talking about the top teams in their conference and the only two teams who've had the same starting line up for Three years.....we haven't had a consistant line up since last year, It'll take a few games for us to get some kind of Chemistry going.

Well, it looks like Rafer Alston is beginning to learn the system, and Jon Barry is already healthy enough to play. Derek Anderson will likely come back in a few weeks, as will Yao. Also, if the optimistic expectations were correct, we might see Sura back as soon as the All-Star break. It'll be intriguing to see what this team can do with a full, healthy roster.

Last year, our team looked pretty bad on paper, but a big reason we were so good was because of our team chemistry. Our team chemistry was so good that it made our team much better. When Yao comes back, maybe we can make a run similar to Denver's run, 32-8? They were almost undefeatable, the only reason we beat them was because of late injuries

    Wow great news!
Lets not be too hasty about the injury on Yao. He is finally getting the rest he needs. No NBA games, no national team games, nothin, but plain rest and recovery.
Maybe when he gets back, he'll suprise us [IMG]

    Rockets VS Cavaliers

I saw the game last night . T-mac and other players of Rockets do it very well without Yao . We hope Rockets move forward as Yao comes back .

Right now i am hoping that in the two weeks without yao ming mcgrady can lead the team back to .500 since mcgrady sometimes has shown he can lead the team it would be perfect time to do it now. Plus if we get back to .500 before yao comes back playoffs is not a problem but that would require like an 8 game winning streak before yao's return but unlikely. Its would be like a dream come true if it happens.

IF T-Mac isn't back by the time Yao returns, let's hope DA can pick it up and become the type of playmaker/scorer he can be, and show some consistency. It will make the loss of TMac a little less painful.

I dont think he can step it up for T-MAC. Just coz he's not that kinda player. We can solely rely on Yao and probably the rookies.
