Jason Kidd registered his 69th career triple-double and the Nets cruised to their ninth straight win, a 113-106 victory over the struggling Orlando Magic. Vince Carter scored 31 points and Richard Jefferson added 15 for New Jersey (18-12), which matched Phoenix and Detroit for the longest winning streak in the NBA this season. They won their last eight games of 2005 but had not played since December 30. It is the fourth-longest winning streak in franchise history and five off the club record of 14. </div> http://www.nba.com/games/20060106/ORLNJN/recap.html
How does Dwight get 19 pts 14 boards and only get 11 shots? He had the same amount of shots as Tony Battie. What is wrong with that? Give the kid the ball more, he will go through growing pains, but you are losing anyway, so help his development.

Until Dwight develops into a great player the Magic will never be a consistent team or a playoff contender. He has the potential and we need to start feeding him the ball so that he can build confidence and grow as a player.
Agreed. And the thing that boggles me is that he should've gotten at least 15-20 touches to expose the weak Net frontcourt. Giving him touches is the only way he's going to become better.
