    After a little...

Bit of time, it appears that the D-league experience is was a good idea. I think that Green spending some time up in the NBA practicing, then going to the D for some floor time was a good plan. That way he knows the Celts game a little bit and he get some experience. The kid is just out of high school. While the D isn't the Nba, the players are still better than all but the best college programs. He's getting some time, not sitting the bench, and the early returns have been decent. His defense can only get better than it was in the preseason.
I just hope he doesn't turn into a volume scorer, al a stackhouse.
Ainge also mentioned bringing him back up towards the end of the season. I'm hoping he will do that. Although if they make the playoffs (probably not) I can't imagine him being on that roster.
It gives me a reason to keep up with the d-league, which is somehow satisfying.

Guys, Gerald Green belongs in the D league for one reason: his atrocious defense. Many of you seem to forget that the NBA, even with the crazy offense, that you need above average defense to compete in this league. Certainly i do not blame Green for having bad defense because he's been playing against HS kids that are 3-4 steps behind NBA players. The D league will without a doubt make him a better player. If only the rest of Boston can wait he will help the team in the near future.

    Gerald, Recently

Read an article that Green put on twenty four lbs of muscle already this season. Hopefully it doesn't do anything to those massive ups.
Also, he laid down twenty one points in a loss to roanoke tonight. With better than fifty percent shooting. Seems that he's doing ok down there.
