Projected Starters

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/jason_kidd.jpg[/IMGL]PG - Jason Kidd
14.2ppg, 7.9apg, 7.1rpg
Kidd has really played great through this 9 game winning streak. He has been doing everything, like scoring, rebounding, handing out assists. He is playing at a great level even at the age of 32. He is one the major reasons why the Nets are winning.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/vince_carter.jpg[/IMGL]SG - Vince Carter
24.7ppg, 6rpg, 4.0apg
Carter has been playing at a higher level these past 9 games. He has been more aggressive , which really puts pressure on the other team. He has just been playing on another level, since the first game of the winning streak. Everyone is hoping he can continue playing like this.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/richard_jefferson.jpg[/IMGL]SF - Richard Jefferson
19.3ppg, 7.7rpg, 4.2apg
RJ hasn’t been really talked about because, of how Carter and Kidd have been playing but he is doing his part. At times he really takes pressure of Carter, creates his own shot to the basket. Without him the Nets would not be the same team

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/jason_collins.jpg[/IMGL]PF - Jason Collins
3.8ppg, 4.1rpg, .32bpg
Those are pretty ugly numbers right? Yet with those numbers Collins really helps the Nets against big men in the middle. He can hold the physical players on the inside, and just plays great defense. This is what the Nets expect from him.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/nenad_krstic.jpg[/IMGL]C- Nenad Krstic
12.3ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.07bpg
This is Krstic’s second season and he just keeps improving. He is becoming a better post player and he can hit that 13-15 jumper. His only problem at this point is his defense but it is really improving my the minute. He can’t seem to be able to guard the more physical centers and forwards. He is a great player and will keep improving and even now, he is a great weapon for the Nets. Nets need him, to keep playing great.

Keys to the Game

Defense- This is how the Nets have been winning their games by playing defense. When they play defense and cause the opponent to miss, they have a great chance for a basket on the fastbreak. They need to keep playing defense in order to win.

Carter- He just needs to keep doing what he is doing. He is aggressive and is playing great team basketball. He doesn’t need to worry about anything else but what the coaching staff tells him. If he is told to look for his shot and be more selfish , then that’s what he needs to do.

Stop Mike james- This guy has been playing great for the Raptors. If you don’ t think so, then be sure to look at the Raptors game against Houston. He has been on a tear, and Kidd has to make sure to play great defense like always, and keep Mik James from getting hot.

[/DIV]

[IMG] (11-22)
Projected Starters

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/mike_james.jpg[/IMGL]PG – Mike James
16.3ppg, 4.7apg, 3.1rpg
Did I mention that he has been playing really great for the Raptors? He is more than half of the reason why they are winning. He is really trying to carry his team and is doing a good job , with his great play.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/morris_peterson.jpg[/IMGL]SG – Morris Peterson
13.9ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.7apg
Peterson has also been doing a great hob for the Raptors each game. He brings scoring to the Raptors, and can really go off if he gets hot. He has great range, and Carter will have to make sure not to give him open shots.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/joey_graham.jpg[/IMGL]SF – Joey Graham
6.6.3ppg, 3.1rpg, 0.7apg
Those numbers aren’t the best but Graham is just a rookie and, in time he will improve and be key player to the Raptors team. He is given minutes and, I see him really improving as time goes by.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/chris_bosh.jpg[/IMGL]PF - Chris Bosh
22.0ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.09bpg
Bosh, the main players of the Raptors has been providing what he is asked for. He is close to averaging a double-double and has been playing great. He can score on the inside and can shoot jumpers, from 10-15 feet. He is just 22 years old, and look at the numbers he is producing.

[IMGL]http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/rafael_araujo.jpg[/IMGL]C -Rafael Araujo
2.4ppg, 3.0rpg, .10bpg
I haven’t really seen that many games, but from the stats and the guy I have seen him play, he looks like a big scrub to me. Sorry Raptors fans.

Keys to the Game

Bosh and James-IMO,these two guys are the main reasons that the Raptors have been winnig their games. They bring heart to the team and really play great, and without them , the Raptors will be no where. Bosh and James each, will need to play a great game to beat the Nets

Energy- Raptors have been playing pretty good for a while , and if they want to win against the Nets, I think they will need to provide a lot of energy for the whole game. They need to get the crowd into it, and pretend they are playing a playoff game.

Stop Vinsanity
- I really doubt the Raptors will be able to stop him, but they have to do there best, and keep him from having another amazing game. If he plays like he has been the past 9 games, then the Raptors will have no chance.

Great preview. I think you meant Araujo, not Battie though. Nets have to double Bosh every time he touches the ball, Kidd should be able to contain James. Nets (especially Vince) have to get off to an early start and make the crowd shut their mouths.

Lmao Peterson gets b**ch slapped by Carter and gets ejected for hitting back.

I really thought the Nets would lose. Ot seemed like there was no way they would come back at the end but i was proven wrong. Incredible shot by VC, he really proves that he is an incredible player. 42 pts and 10 rebs for him. 22 pts and 15 assists doe Kidd. Now let's just hope Jefferson will be bable to play against the tough Spurs.

Great Game! Vince Carter and Jason Kidd were awesome! Would've been a lot easier if Richard Jefferson didn't get injured, hope he's Okay for the next game!

Go NETS! 10th consecutive wins!

Wow it was great to see Carter shut those fans up. Considering the circumstances, that's one of the best game winners I've seen. seemed like James was hitting everything too. Calderon is probably kicking himself. Too bad RJ got injured, but back spasms shouldn't be too serious. I feel bad about MoPete getting ejected though lol.

It doesn't matter if it is luck or something else. A win is a win against any team.

GREAT win, I really thought we would lose...Carter proved is becoming an MVP candidate...and Kidd is back to his old self the last few games, which is important. Hopefully, RJ will be back against the Spurs, because we need all the weapons we have.

yah hitting 4 clutch shots in the last minutes is luck? sore loser.

Great win man, Kidd was amazing and Carter was just off the chart, did anyone noticed that he screamed at the crowd saying "This is my house" after making that clutch shot? he really shut down those fans and is really becoming an MVP canadidate.

I'm not a Raptor fan.

What I'm talking about is Morris Peterson. What the officials did to him helped the Nets out. I'm sure the Raptors could have used a good defender and a 39% three-point shooter towards the end of the game.

Peterson was doing a great job on Carter. It's no coincidence Carter went 12-19 once Peterson got ejected (when Peterson held him to 6-16 shooting)

They didnt need Peterson on offense, James was hitting pretty much everything.

Yea and if Peterson was there , he would take away shots from James. Him staying would of helped the Raptors or it could of backfired.

Clearly if you watched the Raptors you would not say that Peterson takes shots away from James. The Raptors hardly run any play for Peterson, and many of his points are open shots that come off assists, movement and penetration(Mike James gives does all 3).

The more significant part was the Raps losing Mo's D; he was harassing VC on defense. Carter was 6-16 when Mo was tossed, which forced the Raps to play Mike James on VC and come help once VC got the ball.

I thought you guys thought Peterson was needed offensively. i got confused. lol

Quote:

Jason Kidd normally is even-keeled on the court, but he got worked up at the end of the first half after Mike James talked trash to him. Kidd didn't like what he said and continued to jaw at the Raptors' point guard. It sparked Kidd after halftime to score 13 third-quarter points.
