Ithink these are the 10 greatest ballers of all time. 1.Michael Jordan 2. Larry Bird 3. Magic Johnson 4. Karl Malone 5. Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) 6. Kevin Garnett 7. Hakeem Olajuwon 8. Lebron James 9. Dwyane Wade 10. Allen Iverson/Isiah Thomas comments?

A top-10 list without Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson on it? In no particular order, I'd have: Chamberlain Shaq Jordan Robertson Kareem Magic Bird Russell Olajuwon Olajuwon is debatable (several other players had arguably better careers). The rest, I think, would be very difficult to leave off a top-10 list.
Im looking at talent not stats. Oscar robertson goes # 11 for me wilt respect = respect of Yao x 10000 = 15 best player all time
I'm going to make a "bold" prediction and say Wade won't ever be a top ten player, ever. I know, I must be crazy. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">wilt respect = respect of Yao x 10000 = 15 best player all time</div> Uh... I dont know what the hell that means but Wilt is a top 5 player of all time. Top 10 at the absolute most disrespectful/ignorant. Especially if you are talking about talent, the guy was one of the most athletic people ever to walk the planet; 7 plus ft tall, built like a rock, could dunk from the free throw line, running 50 mile runs in his 50s, oh and he had great post skills to boot.

And, how can you possibly judge and compare the talent of players who played in different eras? Maybe it would make more sense to narrow this down to "Top 10 Players Since the 90s."
Karl Malone over Kareem? No offense, but what were you smoking? I don't like threads like this, because everyone has their own view (but some rules apply, like MJ, Wilt, Kareem, Bird, Magic, and Robertson should always be on the list), and it often turns into flaming wars.
MJ Magic Johnson Wilt Chamberlain Larry Bird Bill Russell Oscar Robertson Kareem Abdul Jabar Hakeem Olajuwon Shaq Oneal Tim Duncan

These guys still have their prime to come. Iverson and Garnett are in there primes so they can be included but its gota be 1.Michael Jordan 2. Magic Johnson 3. Larry Bird 4. Wilt Chamberlin 5. Bill Russell 6. Oscar Robinson 7. Hakeem Olajuwon 8. Tim Duncan 9. Karl Malone 10. Shaquelle O'neal Any problems with this? Only players i might have not included are George Mikan, Bob Cousy, John Havilchek and Scottie Pippen
