<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dingking:</div><div class="quote_post">Well, I just dont understand why kobe cant get along with his teammates? Shaq, Odom, Karl Malone and even phil jackson. He won three titles which he couldn't have got without Shaq. But he desperately kicked shaq out. The result is Lakers suddenly becomes a team which can only wandering around .50%. Not even the top 10 in the western division last season. What I mean is if kobe can get along with his team mate, he will be a undisputable legend of basketball. The Lakers could have a much higher record. But now, i doubt it. He's still not as good as MJ. But anyway, we'll see how good he can be in the future.</div> I don't even know where to start on this one, but I will try. 1st, Kobe and Odom are good friends, stop believing every damn article you read. Shaq and Kobe had their differences, it's 50/50 on who's to blame for that, they both have their reasons. Kobe couldn't have got his titles without Shaq, true. But, Shaq couldn't have got his three titles without Kobe, fact. Now, the Lakers of last season. Boy, where do I start. First, we go from having the all-star team with Kobe, Shaq, Malone, Payton, Fisher/Fox, etc. to Kobe, Chucky Atkins, Chris Mihm, Caron Butler, Brian Grant, and Lamar Odom. Then, Kobe is injured for about 20 games for the season. Next, we have a coach who incorporates a whole different offensive strategy than the Triangle Offense. Then. half way through the season, he leaves because of health injuries. Now, we have asst. coac Phil Hamblin come in, who specializes using the Triangle offense. The team is now absolutely, and completely confused on what to do. I mean, I could just go on for HOURS, why we didn't make the playoffs. AND, to top it off, WE ALMOST MADE THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR. We had a horrible losing streak towards the end that threw away our chances, I forgot the numbers but we lost like 11/14 games or so towards the end. If we made the playoffs, I would have been embarassed of how weak and lame the NBA has gotten. The fact is, You can't put Kobe and 4 nobodies (respectively) on a team and expect them to go to the playoffs their first year, there were SO MANY different variables involved last season why we didn't make it. This year, however, we will make it, I guar-an-damn-tee it.
