I remember watching this guy in the McDonalds High School All-Star game and dunk contest...I'm just curious about something...recently he been getting minutes and playing..just wanted to know what you guys thought of him...

IMO he has ALOT of confidence....I remember his shot wasn't falling, but he keeps taking them and he is starting to make them...not only that he plays pretty good defense....he is quick and I like him being on this Laker team....

    so what you guys think?

I think he still gotta a lot to learn. Maybe, he can learn from Kobe. Von plays above the rim. One thing is he should drive in more when he gets the ball.

He's got a lot to learn, but I like watching him dash in the paint after a missed free throw for a dunk haha.

Von Wafer has shown that he's capable of scoring thats not the question. The thing I like about Von Wafer is his athletic ability but right now he needs to focus on becoming a better player and understanding his role on the team. He should attack the basket and throw it down. I know he got hops. I watched him play in the summerpro league and he was pulling windmills and between the leg dunks. I think we all just need to give him time to breakout, besides he's still a rookie.

Yeah he has a lot to improve...the only thing I don't like is that he shoots a lot of perimiter shots and he hardly make any....he needs to improve his shot and look to pass more instead of coming in and start bashing long shots.

wafer amuses me. lol. he is probably my favorite laker besides kobe. for some reason, i just love it when he comes on to the court. he just seems like a younger version of kobe, going out there and taking all those shots. dont you just love it when he always tries to dunk in those missed free throws but miss? lol. i love wafer.

Wafer is like Kobe in the making or maybe a slam dunk champion later on. Wafer plays with confidence and agressiveness and he has hops. I think he or Turiaf will be the Lakers 3rd scoring option later on after Kobe and Bynum.

I think he can be a great player...he needs to learn to be consistent and yes I do think he should drive the lane more...either throw it down, dish it out like he can, or just slam it in whoevers face...we all know he can do it....let's hope he does good tonight
