Can't imagine that's happened many times before.

    21, 10 and 10 despite not starting.

    Fair effort.

I didn't see the game but it is great to achieve a triple double, especially off the bench.

Proved he's more than just a shooter. He has to be consistent though.

    That's it.

We obviously can't expect nights like this all the time, but given the role he's going to be playing (assuming we don't do a trade) we need a lot more consistency.

His shooting, whilst nice, will become secondary if he can continue to handle the ball successfully.

The Grizzlies are the most underrated team period. They sort of remind me of the Kings because they seem to have a little swagger now with Bobby Jackson. Just his body language gives this team a little attitude. And at the same time they remind me of the new Mavs lead under Avery Johnson. Well like I was saying this is a underrated team. They have a very good balance of seasoned and semi youth players. Mike has done one heck of a job with this ball club. I expect them to make some noise in the Playoffs.

Who cares if he did it off the bench, he probably played starter minutes, and he's starter quality.

It's just like SVG said about the Sonics last year. A guy like Radmanovic can come off the bench on a stacked team, but it doesn't mean that he's a bench player. You guys are making it sound like Christian Laettner got a triple double or something, this is not all that big a deal.

Props to Miller and all but he's not really a bench player.

    Sonics/Clips/T-Wolves all lose or something?

It was the first ever triple-double from a Memphis player and the first from a reserve for 8 years. Rather significant.

I'm only a fan of one of those teams, but nice attempt at comedy [IMG] .

Once again this is being blown out of proportion. Just because he is a reserve doesn't mean that he couldn't be starting on a lot of teams, or even on the Grizzlies.

Mike Miller played 41 minutes tonight, that's more than all of the Grizzlies starters except Gasol. So no, I don't give him credit for getting a triple double as a reserve, and you shouldn't either. There are some starters who don't even average than many minutes per game. Him coming off the bench is just a technicality, and probably part of their offensive strategy.

I remember Anthony Bowie (or was it Donald royal) who got a triple double off the bench...it was infamous because he called timeout just so he could get the last assist, infuriorating Doug Collins and leaving his entire team off the floor for the last play

I'm probably too young to remember, but today we made an effort to get Mike his triple-double late.

Usually i don't like doing such things, but the game was over and he only came out of the game to give him a rest, so it wasn't too big a deal to bring him back for the last 3 minutes so he could get 2 rebounds.

First player since Shaun Bradley to have a triple double off the bench!

Anyone recall Bradley's statline for his triple-double?
