i'm clueless when it comes to salary cap and all that stuff...but, who's gonna be a free agent this year other than ben wallace, and do we have any chance of signing anyone significant?
Not likely that we sign anyone significant unless we trade off some of our players. The only FA we have after this season is Cheany and we have 2 draft picks so its unlikely we will get anyone at all other than our draft picks.
Our Rd 2 MIGHT go to the Suns,the Zarko deal,it was protected last year-so we got Montae,it listed as "conditional" but I can't say what conditions,we also owe and unconditional #2 in 09 on that deal. With Miles gone,we are at 13 men,delete Calbert,replace him with our #1,it's still 13. If we DO have a rd 2 that's 14,we can,I think,carry 15 but would we bother if its a scrub who might not even be activated regularly?
