Cause in Orlando he has to get his points to be happy. With Howard developing into potential all-star in the near future, Francis wants to be the Franchise and the Hawks have no guy like that. Even on BSPN it said, Hawks is a big target for Francis.

Magic have Grant Hill at small forward and the Pacers have Jamal Tinsely at point guard. In order for this to happen, other players would have to be involved.

Steve Franchise makes Allen Iverson look like an Eagle Scout. When he can play defense like he is capable of playing and is paid to play, then let him sit down with his agent and the GM and discuss a trade like a real player would.
I will qualify this statement by saying that I only believe half of what the sports writers put in the paper. He left MD too soon. Didn't have an NBA game for at least two years. And places too much importance on how much respect he perceives he is getting. He is a great player and hopefully will dedicate his next 3, and probably his last 3, years as an elite pro to making his teammates great and taking them deep into the playoffs.

Franchise has always been an immature player and people have been saying for years just wait until he matures. Well he is 28 now and it doesn't look like he is changing much. I'm going to be really surprised if you can get someone of equal value in return for him.

Ya know what I find funny? Noone wants him loool. At least people want Artest.

Places I could see Francis
Atlanta
Boston
Minnesota
Portland

That's really all the options there are. Francis better hope Minnesota is willing to package Sczierbiak for him.

Link anyone? I skimmed through the pages and didnt see it so yea, I hope something like Marbury/James for like Francis/Cato is done. Only thing I can see sensible at this point, Indiana could be a front runner though, and maybe the Magic want Corey Maggette back? Only three teams I see in contention for Francis are there, Indiana, LAC, and NY.

I've been watching MN with interest for a few years and assumed they were
trying to build a San Antonio-type team: A strong post presence, a great PG,
a tall wing player with a deep bench with strong perimeter skills. It's failed,
miserably until last year for a variety of reasons; but the pieces are there, if the pilot can get it to fly. I just don't see Francis as an improvement over Hudson/Jaric. Szcierback is no Ginobli, but who is? The former is playing his best ball. With that nucleus, Garnett, Hudson/Jaric and Wally (I honestly am not sure about the spelling) as a model of Duncan, Parker and Ginobli, MN needs a genius behind the curtain to complement these players with both the current roster and, inevitably and unavoidably, an historic trade. Can a Ron Artest and a Richard Jefferson create a chemical compounding that will stun Utah, suffocate Dallas, blur the defending champs' vision, and confound the Pistons?
