<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer, who has yet to play this season, suffered a setback in his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury, a Salt Lake City television station reported Friday. According to KSL-TV, Boozer aggravated the injury during his workouts and there is now no timetable on his return to the active roster. Boozer hasn't played since Feb. 14, when he strained his right foot during a game. He said entering training camp that the foot was completely healed, but injured his hamstring in practice and did not play in a preseason game.</div> <div align="center">Source</div>
Jeez..Feel sorry for y'all Jazz fans. He better sit out rest of the season and start planning on making a comeback next year.
Wow talk about bad luck regarding injuries and Boozer for Jazz fans. It'll be a weird feeling seeing Boozer back in the Jazz lineup.
Um.... wait.... he already re-aggravated the hamstring. Is this an old thread? An old news report? What the ****? Please don't tell me he re-aggraved it for a 2nd time....
He injured it again. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Feb. 14 - Boozer injures right foot and misses final 31 games of the season Oct. 3 - Reports to training camp in excellent physical condition Oct. 8 - Strains left hamstring during final two-a-day workout and misses all seven preseason games Oct. 31 - Re-injures hamstring while working out in preparation for coming back for regular season Nov. 14 - Tears hamstring muscle during workout, consults additional specialists for new treatments Jan. 10 - Hamstring "tightens up" during rehab workout, pushing back anticipated comeback. O'Connor said Boozer's hamstring "tightened up." "He tweaked it a little bit, and stretched it a little bit, so he's backed up a little on what he's been doing," said O'Connor, the Jazz's senior vice president of basketball operations. "But it's not as if he's 're-hurt' or 're-injured.' " The setback is the sort of which can be expected for the type of injury Boozer is rehabbing, O'Connor suggested. Boozer had progressed to working out on the court recently, but now he is back to a rehab pool and an exercise bike. Boozer initially hurt his hamstring at the tail end of the first week of training camp in early October, then injured it again during subsequent rehab work, and has yet to play a game this season. In fact, the Duke University product who left Cleveland to sign a six-year, $68 million contract with Utah in the summer of 2004 has not played since last Feb. 14 due to the hamstring issues and a foot injury sustained last season.</div> Link
