This Dallas team is incredible when rested. Their energy level was incredible. Everyone playing well. Dallas leads at the half 67-44. We end the half pretty good exept for foulding Kidd at the end as he gets 2 free throws but this game started off very well and i think that had to do with Diop starting instead of Dampier and bringing more energy. Mavs score the most points this year for them which is good to see. This team was full of burst getting steals, blocks and going after the ball hard. We contained Vince pretty well and the score of the game showed it even though he had 14 points he was 5-12. Keith ened up with 21 for the half with superb 3 point shooting. Josh has 17 . Diop has 4 rebounds but that is all he has. We have a pretty good lead and lets see if we can keep it in place in the second half. Harris has 7 assists and is all over the floor with his quickness and its nice to see Kidd with only 4 because we cant have him getting as many assists as he is capable of getting and getting everyone on the team involved.
The big factors in the game seem to be - New Jerseys turnovers - Dallas' assists - Dallas' 3 point shooting - Dallas' steal - Effort on the defensive end Predictions for the 2nd half anyone? DJ MBenga?
DJ will be seen in the 2nd half for sure. Looks like Dallas is clicking on all cylinders. Hope that they will put NJ away early in the 3rd and don't let them hang around.
