Hey good game tonight. You guys gave us a run for our money and played your hearts out until the buzzer.

Ugh... One player went triple double, and another player matched Kobe's 38 pts. And, we still can't beat the rival at home... Can we please stop other teams from shooting below 60% at first quarter? Where did Murphy or Fisher's outside jumper go? Dunleavy? 5-14 isn't exactly how you back up your word after calling out teammates. Do we plan to use Diogu anytime soon? Or, find one effective big man?

We all thought nothing short of PO in this season would be a big disappointment. Ever since December, we are 6-13, pace to be top 5 at the draft...

    Three things:

First, the Warriors must learn how to defend against the screen. On the highlites provided my NBA TV, they had just two basic plays of Smush Parker getting a screen and then being able to do whatever he wants, usually walking to the basket for an easy shot, with nobody switching or anything. The communication on defense is terrible. I have seen these problems the past few games, and all of these good coaches are seeing it and they aren't going to let the Warriors get by with this weakness.

Secondly, I am starting to believe that the Warriors are playing very similar to how Stanford played under Mike Montgomery. Problem for the Warriors though, is that there are not so many dominate shooters on this team like those Stanford teams had with Casey Jacobsen, Ryan Mendez, Art Lee, etc. Also this team doesn't have those dominate big men(at least dominate compared to their opponents) that those Cardinal teams had with Tim Young, Madsen, Collins' twins, and Bourchardt. I just remember those Stanford teams passing the ball around the key a lot and using up the shot clock which is much longer than the NBA's(remember last year when it seemed that Montgomery had some trouble adjusting to the shorter shot clock? or that was my thought at one moment last year), and then they would just pass the ball around and disect defenses slowly and get an easy bucket off a cutter, or they would just kick it back out to the perimeter to one of the many perimeter shooters to knock down the shot. Then they had the big men who usually played at the top of the key and just pass the ball and do whatever they wanted usually with a height advantage, as they also had good skills. Now it seems as if none of this is happening or available due to the roster, besides too many three point attempts. Way too many three point attempts, I think.

Finally I would like to see the Warriors get the post players back involved in the game. I miss Murphy getting to the line 10 times a game. I miss Diogu or whomever else getting the touches on the block. And I believe that it would be somewhat better maybe for the team if Taft got some playing time in the post, at least more PT in the post or at least equal PT in the post as Dunleavy may be getting.

Anyway, I guess these are kind of old problems. But there have been not so many solutions lately. Everyone just seems befuddled and content or believers that time will solve the Warriors' problems...I guess we will see.

I guess if you let Kwame Brown take 18/12 on you something is definetely wrong with your frontcourt.
Let's hope our guys make a better appearance this week with the Sonics and the Clippers (uhoh) coming up.

J-Rich freethrows man, if he made 80% we'd atleast have a chance of going OT. Nothing much to say.

Brutal game/entertaining game all wrapped up in one. How Kwame and Mihm combine for like 28 is impossible to fathom (I admit, I took someone to dinner and did not get there until 5 mins left in 1st quarter.) The Warriors were great in the 2nd period, playing good D with hustle and creating some turnovers.

2nd half was awful. Only 44 points and hard to remember how they scored them. Yes JRich got 37 but you know what? Most in the 1st half. 4-10 from the FT line. If one game, alright, but its the same as before.

Kobe was Kobe at the end, some huge shots, I do not think anyone else does that consistently, not Duncan, not Chauncey, nobody.

But the Warriors did not lose because of Kobe, they lost because the last 3 mins, they just chucked up 3s even though they could have gotten 2 and gotten stops, that's what good teams do.

Yes, okay Monty does not get off scott free with the blame, but to say others (Smart/Elie) are yelling and he is on his butt? Watch Phil or Popovich, their assistants shout out instructions while they sit.

Sad fact is the Warriors may be achieving right where they belong until the players get better.
