<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 13 (Ticker) -- All of a sudden, the Portland Trail Blazers are a scoring machine.

Juan Dixon scored 25 points and made two clutch jumpers in the final 90 seconds as the Trail Blazers erupted on offense for the second straight game in a 113-108 victory over the reeling Orlando Magic.

Sebastian Telfair scored 21 points off the bench and fellow guard Steve Blake added 17 for Portland, which took the lead for good early in the fourth quarter and held on to win consecutive games for the first time since taking three in a row from December 23-28.

The Blazers did not score 100 points until their 27th game and failed to reach triple digits for another seven contests before Wednesday's 113-103 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Sparked by their triumvirate of guards, they matched their season high in points and shot 54 percent (42-of-78) from the field, including 10-of-15 from 3-point range.</div>

Jameer Nelson had 19 points and 13 assists and Dwight Howard had 20 points and 13 rebounds. Our two guys are playing well and considering how close this game was, I'm pretty proud of our team. Hedo Turkoglu had 27 points and 8 rebounds but it seems like whenever we give Hedo a good amount of shots we lose. Also, Little Travis Diener had 11 points in 14 minutes. We played well as a whole and I think this whole Francis situation may be for the best.

Don't blame Hedo for this loss. He shot 12-18, what else could you want? We just don't have the talent or the depth right now to win games on the road, especially in the West coast. It was nice to see Dwight get 15 shots, that's what we need to do. Jameer musta been in on nearly every play since he got 20 shots and 13 assists. I'm not hating on Jameer, I just don't like to see our starting PG have the most shots. (like Francis normally did too)
