<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chicago Tribune - Andres Nocioni isn't interested in participating in the All-Star Game three-point shootout next month.

Nocioni, who entered Saturday's game tied for first with San Antonio's Bruce Bowen for the league's top three-point percentage--49.5 percent--said he isn't All-Star caliber and will decline if invited.

    "It's by accident I'm leading the league," the second-year forward said modestly. "I'm not a three-point shooter."</div>

I don’t know exactly why he would decline the invite, but Noc is a pretty modest guy, and does not like to get much media attention. He almost never gives interviews or takes a lot of credit for the team success. There is also the possibility that he is a better in game shooter than spot up shooter so he does not feel he can win the contest, and does not want to waste his time.
