<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">Didn't see the game. What the hell happened?</div> Seeing how you're a Knick fan, trust me, you don't want to know....... but if you really want to know, well basically, the Knicks decided that defense wasn't necessary to win games..... they also looked pretty fatigued out there too, the raps out hustled them for every loose ball..... The positives for the knicks however, were the plays Marbury, Curry, and David Lee. Marbury had 10 assists at the half and Curry had 20 points at the half. David Lee posted a double double and looks to be a steal for you guys..... Everyone criticizes IT for making the most bizarre moves, but no one can question his drafting ability though
Yea, I saw the jump between Hoffa and Nate. I chuckled when Nate won, but the Ref didn't throw it high. Anyway in response to MrJ, The Raps and Knicks were both playing well in the first couple of quarters. Raps were hitting their shots, while New York was playing fairly well as a team with Marbury running the offense. (Racking up 10 assists in the first half) Then I think somewhere in the second quarter the Raps started playing a zone and defending the interior, which really hurt the Knicks. No offense to the Knicks, however they don't seem to have players that are confident in shooting 3s, except Crawford, because I've seen him light it up in other games. Also in the second quarter, Jalen was guarded by Q, and Jalen did a shot fake and got Q to go for it, fouled and made the shot. Jalen hits a jumpshot over Curry, Jalen draws another foul and hits the shot, Jalen hits another jumper. Jalen ends up with 18 points in the second quarter giving the Raps the spurt they needed. 3rd and 4th quarter Raps have pretty balanced scoring, Mo Pete hits some 3s. Bosh has a nice jam, Marbury starts looking to score for himself and shows that he can score at will against the Raptors.
