As good a season as he has had he still does not deserve to start over AI or Dwayne Wade and likely won’t. However, he has a very good chance of getting in as a reserve.

GA is a good player i dunno if he'll make it to the starting lineup but, if coaches are voting for reserves GA will get in.

Arenas won't be a starter, but he will be in. Like last year, he does deserve it, but not to start. Even if he deserved to start, he wouldn't. The Washington Wizards get no national exposure, therefore Gilbert Arenas is kept basically unknown the the general fan, similar to Elton Brand.

It doesn't really matter if we vote, he won't be a starter anyways, and doesn't deserve to be one, but could possibly be voted in by the coaches, though it will be very tough. Iverson and Wade will be starters, then Vince will make it, and the other guard will be Chauncey Billips. Their could be a 5th guard, if their is, then it's between Arenas, Redd, and Kidd.

Arenas will make it over Billups, he's having statistically the best season of his career. If Billups is chosen over him, that will be the ultimate snub.

Most people don't know Arenas is getting about 30 PPG this season. I didn't know either until I checked the Scoring title race. That is incredible. No doubt he deserves to be on the all-star team. He may even deserve to be a starter as I think it's pretty blocse between him and Wade, but its obvious Wade will get the nod.

yea it better be those 2, no other guards statistically is doing better than these 2, im not a fan of vince but when he averaged like 29 a game for that nets 9 game win streak, that should give him a spot for the asg this year

    Gilbert Arenas: 28.8 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1.85 SPG, .44% FG, .80 FT%, .37 3PT%

    Chauncey Billups: 19.2 PPG, 3.2 RPG, 8.4 APG, .68 SPG, .43 FG%, .92 FT%, .43 3PT%

    Vince Carter: 25.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 4.0 APG, 1.09 SPG, .44% FG, .84 FT%, .38 3PT%

    Michael Redd: 24.7 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.9 APG, .97 SPG, .43 FG%, .84 FT%, .41 3PT%

    Jason Kidd: 14.5 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 7.9 APG, 2.06 SPG, .43 FG%, .75 FT%, .36 3PT%

Statistically, I think Jason Kidd and Gilbert Arenas deserve the spots, or Vince Carter and Gilbert Arenas. There is no denying that Gilbert doesn't deserve a spot, no matter how hard you want to try and make an arguement for it. He's averaging nearly 30 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds a game. Shooting 44%. If Arenas is not in the allstar game, like I said before, that'll be the biggest snub.

Are you serious? How could you say that Kidd is more deserving than Chauncey or VC, you have the stats right in front of you. I don't even care about stats that much, Billups deserves to be an allstar, and you should have posted Hamilton's stats as well.

Gilbert should make the team, but Chancey is a top 3 MVP candidate and should as well. The Wizards are average at best, the Pistons are the best team in the NBA and should get more credit for that than just Ben Wallace.
