<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What NBA team has yet to blow a late lead this season...and is 19-0 when it's leading after three quarters? What NBA team ranks first in overall offense during the last five minutes of close games? According to 82games.com, that team is the Nets. The site, which crunches all manner of basketball stats, says the Nets are not the team opponents want ahead in the final minutes. It's all part of an analysis of coaching provided Bill Simmons of ESPN. Can't be bad news for Lawrence Frank.</div>

I dont know those stats are a bit mis-leading...because we are only 1-15, when trailing going into the 4th quarter. The sign of a great clutch team is a team with the ablity to comeback when down in the 4th, as well. So I wouldnt say we are the league's best team in crunch. I would probably say a team like detriot is the best cruch/clutch time team...they got guys at 4 of their 5 positions, starting wise, that can make big plays for them in the 4th, on offense. And even though you say Ben Wallace is probably the alone player on that starting 5 that you wouldnt go to for a big shot down the stretch, he can still make key offensive plays as well down the stretch, whether it is a key offensive rebound to give Detriot a 2nd chance opportunity or him getting a tip in bucket off the offensive glass. Also the most important thing is detriot has a team that is built to get key stops on defense in the crunch and clutch, that is why a lead going into the 4th is never safe against them, cause they can pickup their level of D, when they know they need a key stop. Us on the other hand, cant really do that consistently, when can get one maybe two defensive stops at a key situations, but we cant really put together a bunch of key defensive stops, we have too many holes in our D. And thats why you dont see that many 4th quarter comebacks from us.
