Why? You love shaq or something. We are just having fun. Chillax. The kid did something a lot of people couldn't do. He beat Shaq at his own game on the post. That is something to be proud of it. Just because Shaq fans are getting the realty shock Shaq isn't invinceable is no reason to rain on our parade. Also. If Shaq is a such a respected veteran. How did he get worked on the low post by some no talent looser no name? (your words not myn)

His move on Shaq is the talk of the town. It's not the fact he scored on Shaq, everyone is impressed how he went right at Shaq and didn't back down. Keep in mind this is an 18 year old kid getting right into Shaq's face and then serving him. You have to respect that move and his grit after Shaq posterized him the play before.

Kobe went head to head with MJ when he scored 33 and MJ dropped 36 his rookie year.... Young players (especially rookies) go as hard as they can against the stars because it's a measuring stick for them. If you can score on Shaq, Jordan etc. you can score on anybody. It's a confidence builder for them and their teammates. You better beleive next time the Lakers play the Spurs, Wolves, Rockets (or any team with a legitimate big man) Phil will not be scared to bring Bynum off the bench and his teammates will be more confident giving him the rock then if he had not made that move.

If he eventually gets a reputation for getting into physical confrontations with opposing players, you could always call him "Fine 'em, Bynum."
