Is this the answer to all of our problems? Can Chucky join the ranks of disgruntled Seatlle players and finally turn the Sonics into the 30th worst team in the league and get us a top 3 draft pick? Weren't people on this site advocating a TRADE for him only last week and now he's free!!!

Oh joy, oh joy...I will finally get my money's worth on those season tickets I bought. [IMG]

Maybe we can get Latrell Sprewell, too and he can try choking some defense into the players.

Or maybe we can bring back one of my personal favorites in Isiah Rider.

In his last interview he was candid enough to remind GM's that all that they would have to worry about with him is whether or not their starting shooting guard would still start once he arrived.

You never know, Ray Allen may be having difficulty getting to the bathroom in time as we speak on this.

And for the record, Chucky Atkins would help our backcourt right now. So if we did bring him on I wouldn't be opposed to it. At this point who could hurt us?

Chucky Atkins is a good veteran guard. Like Shiek said...nothing can hurt at this point. I say we bring him in...

What's he going to give us that Luke doesn't though? Both are small guards (Chucky is a lot smaller too) who don't play D. I suppose he's more experienced and has a better outside jumper, but if we're going to look at a point guard, I think size needs to be a prerequisite.

At this point nothing really hurts the Sonics. I just would like to see something happen at the point while Luke sits. I like Flip Murray...but it is getting painful to watch the offense and the defense of the team when he subs in for Luke. Flip may just be best being allowed to be Flip instead of trying to make him into AD or anybody else for that matter. I was just in a flippant mood when I saw the Chucky Atkins announcement.
