Lebron just doesnt have "it" yet I would love to say that Lebron can fill MJs shoes, but I dont see it. He is a great passer and "team player." His shot has improved and his defense is OK. However, I think he is missing that killer instinct that the great ones have. He simply cannot take over offensively. Kobe can do it as well and Wade and even Carmelo- but Lebron has yet to show that he can. Missing big shots against the Lakers and Nuggets on nat. tv is more evidence of this. I would love to see a lebron with wade's mentality- just a fearless drive to the hoop. Anyway, just my 2 cents
People over-hype everything he does to much. He isnt a Jordan he isnt a Kobe, maybe one day he will be but right now he isnt better then either of those 2 players.
Dude, Jordan wasn't even that type of player until about 5 years into his career, plus Jordan had the college experience to work on his "killer Instinct." Lebron is doing a great job with what he knows he can do. Once he has a few years under his belt, he's gonna get the killer instinct and that's when he will put up 35 ppg. I think he's doin' a fine job. Remember, he's only <u><font color=""DarkRed"">21</font></u> years old! You don't learn a killer instinct. It's something you're born with. Wade, Kobe, Reggie Miller, Carmelo, and MJ all had it. LeBron hasn't shown it. LeBron is there for you outside of the last 3 minutes of the fourth quarter. He's a great player, but not a great clutch player.
Yes because players can "work" on their killer instinct. Get real man. That's something that you're born with or brought up with, you can't just learn it. Look at Anthony or Gordon, about the same age as Lebron, and they're both knocking down clutch shots.
one bad game dont mean nothing, and he still had 24 pts and almost a triple double, so what he missed some clutch freethrows??? come on man not even jordan makes all those game winners <font color=""Red"">WARNING! Let's watch the language and insults. This isn't the site for immature comments. </font> - Shapecity
No, but he certainly never went 2-15 for game-winners/tyers, and I doubt if he ever missed a free-throw for the win or tie. <font color=""Red"">WARNING! Let's watch the language and insults. This isn't the site for immature comments. </font> - Shapecity
virve did you just compare Ben Gordon to Lebron? The same guy that's averagin 14 points and 2 assists? The same guy that gets under 30 minutes a night while playing on a team that's 6 games under .500? You must be kidding me. And btw wade is nice but anyone looks a lot nicer when you got Shaq as your big guy. Lebron makes Zydronas look good. That's the difference. And the comparisons to Jordan is pre-mature right now. He's 21 guys. That means he's a Junior in college. And he dominates the NBA. So do i think he's Jordan? Hell no. Do i think he has a chance? Hell yes.
His favorite player is vince carter, so i guess he should know about un-clutch moments. cough( 2001 Eastern Conference playoffs) cough.

Jordan wasn't the "what" type of player until about 5 years into his career? http://www.nba.com/playerfile/michael_jordan/ In his 3rd year, he averaged 37 points a game. ...3rd year.

Its funny cause, the guy is going to turn 22 this year, and people want him to dominate the NBA already.

He is a good player yes but not the best..

VC had 20 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, no turnovers AND HE WAS WILLING AND HE WANTED TO TAKE THE FINAL SHOT to have success you need to know failure...rememer kobe shooting 2 airballs???? you got to learn.... lebron is most talented in nba and he hasnt learned it "yet"...he will...it was 2 bad games he had....but when you are the "king of the nba" as he is...you get this unfair treatment by media Vince had it once. This same thing happened to vince.
LeBron is not a clutch perfromer at all, but he is still one of the leagues best 4th quarter players in the league. I believe he averages around 7 points per 4th. That is more then alot of players in the league. He will get a game winning shot one of these days. He just needs more opportunities to get them. He has had 4 so far, but that isn't enough opportunties to be judged on whether he is clutch. -Leo
Hey boys even Jordan Missed 26 game winners! Lost over 300 games! You gota fail to succeed. We just need to see how many times he fails till he does succeed, because im sure he will succeed one year.
5 yrs into jordans career?!?! RIGHT!!! lol, 63 vs Boston in 1986- and he kept that series close each game singlehandedly (boston in 1986 was one of the best teams of all time!!!). Jordan has been clutch since being a freshman at North carolina. He would NEVER pass up an open potential game tying/winning shot only to pass it to someone that JUST missed 2 freethrows. The great ones want the ball in the final moments- hopefully lebron develops that killer instinct: bird, majoc, jordan, kobe

He wanted the ball! I dont see that in LeBron..
Lebron is great so far, but he needs to finish his clutch shots, its pretty stupid to lose a game missing a free throw!
