MATCHUP BREAKDOWN

Zydrunas Ilgauskas v Adonal Foyle – Foyle has been steadily improving with an average of 4-6 this year. However, on Monday night against the Sonics, he managed to get 4-11 making him a key defensive figure for the Warriors. Ilgauskas is at 16-7, and should be able to surpass Foyle in this matchup. Nevertheless, don’t rule out any key defensive plays from Foyle.
Alan Henderson v Troy Murphy – Henderson is only averaging 3-3, but only plays for around 12 minutes. When given a chance like against Denver, he has proven that he can come up big. He had 16-12 Wednesday night and has potential to do that again. Troy Murphy is having a season that is not quite as good as his previous one. He still gets 15-8, but I think it could be interesting to see the tenacity of Henderson flying into Murphy.
LeBron James v Mike Dunleavy Jnr – LeBron is LeBron, though has been showing his lack of clutch plays recently. He should be able to surpass Dunleavy without too much trouble, as is his finesse, physical and mental ability.
Damon Jones v Jason Richardson – The backcourt provides a huge problem for the Cavs. They need to deal with the explosive duo of J-Rich and Baron Davis, and I honestly can’t see them managing to do this. I expect Richardson to cruise past Jones here, unless Jones gets a hot-hand.
Eric Snow v Baron Davis[color] – I’d really like Snow to come up big here, but I can’t see this happening. The power and skill of Baron should be able to come through against even the toughest of defenders. This matchup could be key for the Warriors.
