I hope Baron does take notice of our game without him. I think he'll probably come out very pissed at the NBA in his first game back and take alot of shots but after that we'll see if Monty keeps up this gameplan. This could be a fluke though; Cleveland has been struggling alot lately. Then again, beating a team with LeBron and a pretty good supporting cast by 20 points probably isnt a coincedence

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting REREM:</div><div class="quote_post">well....Monty still has the job,that part came true</div>

It's more like 2 of 4 (4. Pietrus will not get a lot of chance to guard Lebron, because Monty thinks that Dun is better.)... [IMG]

OMG Warriors won. Did not see this coming. Maybe Monty can do some coaching afterall... I hope this is a start for best things to come..

Great to see Dunleavy take the initiative. I thought his two best moves were the behind the back and his jab step jumper in the second half. Those were confident moves.

Fisher with 9 assists and 6 steals was awesome.

I do not believe that this means Baron has to adjust to the "new" Warriors, I think it means that the rest of the team has to realize that they need to do other things rather than just rely on Baron to get them good shots or just going one on one. The games that I watch I see Baron doing some things but then the Warriors breakdown and just try to go one on one. If anything, the Warriors ignore Baron too much. He does not dominate the ball. I do not know where the criticism of Baron came from, the only criticisms I have with him are his shooting percentages, both from the field and the line.

I bet nobody can say "Ikechukwa Somotochukwa Diogu" 10 times fast.
Imagine chanting that at the arena.

This team won against a struggling team, a slightly injured Lebron (knee), but we can't sell ourselves short with the way Mike Dunleavy Jr. and the rest of the team played both offensively and defensively. The team just played together rather than street ball. Fisher can run plays and I notice he's the only guy who holds up his hand to call them. Luckily, everyone else followed suit and starting taking this losing streak seriously by stepping up the defensive effort and moving more without the ball and passing.

Dunleavy was flat out entertaining by the way. He's pretty darn crafty with the ball with the crossover hesitation and the behind the back down the lane. Now can he keep up his aggressive level of play? Let's hope so. The underdog is finally coming through.

You bring up a good point about taking the losing streak seriously. Everyone was panicking about the losing streak and saying, "Well, we just have to acknowledge that the W's are not elite..."

The fact is, we have seen glimpes of the W's play like an elite team, but to become one, they must go through growing pains such as the losing streak they just had. I don't think the glimpes of greatness are not flukes, but something we should look forward to.
