There is nothing you can criticize in this game. The Lakers were struggling. They were down by 18 points before Kobe started taking over. The other Laker players were struggling with their shot: Lamar (1-7), Kwame (1-5), George (0-4), Sasha (1-5). Mihm was 5-8 and hit his season average, same with Smush. Kobe also threw in 6 boards, 2 assists, and a block. If he's criticized for this, then writers have absolutely no limits to where they will knock someone. That was a perfect game, simply amazing. Also, a little laugh for this, NBA.COM has him listed as 80 points:
I remember I heard a couple of analysts say that the definition of a MVP is a player who will get their team a win.... Well....hehe..I believe Mr. Bryant has just shushed up many of the critics who say that he shouldn't be considered highly because of the fact that Lakers have a mediocre record...I say look at this..Kobe IS carrying this Laker team to a record that is higher than most critics expected...I say give Kobe one of the HIGHEST MVP considerations out of anyone in the NBA. (actually in my mind I say we give it to him now xP, but I'll be modest) My two cents.
Relax everyone, the Milt thing is an inside joke on the site. And Jurassic was just saying ... IF there's one thing the haters will critique about Kobe's 81 it's probably going to be the foul calls on the 3 point attempts. However, all those fouls were legit Jurassic. Kobe was doing his pump fakes and guys were biting and landing on him. He actually should have had more FTAs. He got slapped in the eye on a drive (no call), and near the end he was drawing contact, making the basket, but getting no call. I'm not going to complain though, he made history and more importantly the Lakers came back after being down by 19 points and won the game.

Well I seen a 122 points. But anyways they're wrong cuz I was watching that whole game and was pumped like watching UnderWorld. My god this weekend was fanstatic!
