http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...wahl/index.html UConn Duke Indiana LSU Villanova West Virginia Michigan State Florida Who would your 8 teams be?
dont rule out all the potential Cinderella's. You can't leave out Illinois, Boston College or other teams like Louisville. I'd wait to c the brackets before we make a title predicition because a lot of it has to do with who you play in the tourney.
Duke Michigan State Texas George Washington Sleepers NC State Vanderbilt Oregon Wisconsin I'll make it fair and go with four favorites and four underdogs. I could have easily throw some teams in there such as Gonzaga, Villanova, or UConn but I want to keep it pretty even.
The Eight that I think have the best chance of winning are UConn, Duke, Indiana, LSU, Villanova, West Virginia, Michigan State, Memphis.
@ LSU My 8 would be... Duke UConn Nova Texas Michigan State Indiana Washington NC State - sleeper special
I'm trying to figure out why a few of you are so fasinated with LSU. While they do have one solid team, I definitely don't think they're worth of being mentioned as a potential national championship team. They desperately need Tack Minor's experience and energy at point guard, but it doesn't look like he'll be returning anytime soon.

They are 0-4 against the RPI top 50. 4 teams they played were top-25 and they lost all four and only one was on the road. I don't need 8 teams to say where the championship will come from, its coming from Storrs, Connecticut. Huskies!!
I like the original list. UConn Duke Indiana LSU Texas West Virginia Michigan State Florida I left it the same but swapped Texas in and took out Villanova. Almost knocked out MSU instead of Nova but I didn't.
Here are mine: Michigan State - We're tournament tested; most of this roster was on the Final Four team last season. We've played a Tournament-like schedule; our last three wins were against RPI top 25. We've also got the most talented trio in America, featuring possibly the nation's best big man and possibly the nation's two most athletic wings. Duke Texas West Virginia Iowa George Washington Indiana Connecticut
yah if yall got Mischigan State in there and someone wrote wisconsin yall as might well put Michigan cuz we beat both teams anad we lsot to ranked6-Illinois because Lester Abram didint play and we lost to number12 indiana cuz of the samw reason if anyteam shud be on their wel michigan but not even make the final four but we are better than MSU and Wisconsin
Duke, Michigan State, Villanova, Connecticut, Gonzaga, Washington, Texas. I guess my sleeper picks are also my biased picks. Works out nice.

Marquette beat UConn, so does that mean that Marquette has better chances of making the Final Four than UConn? How about Georgetown? Do they have better chances of making the Final Four than Duke?
It definitely doesn't work that way, but at this point I would take Michigan over Indiana, maybe over MSU, because they have just looked very strong and athletic lately. But I'm not totally convinced yet so if they lose a couple I'll pretend I never said this.
If I would have to make my bracket right now, I would probably say my favorite is Michigan State(just ignore my sig ) I saw them play a couple of times and they got great wing play from Ager and Brown, with Davis as a beast downlow. I really like Neitzel too. He is a great PG for them. Like Voodoo said they are battle tested as they have played some very tough games and play in arugably the best conference and they have tourney experience to the Final 4 last year.
