The Nets' farm team in the "D" League is the Roanoke Dazzle. Lawrence quotes Ed Stefanski as saying it's time to see what Wright can do beyond drills. Wright would be the second highest drafted player sent to the 'D' League, after Martell Webster, taken at No. 6 in the 2005 draft.</div>

I rather see him play and learn, than sit and watch. I certainly would not send him to the NBDL this season considering that McInnis is going to be out for a while. Next season, however, depending of who the Nets acquire, it might be wise to send him over there to develop.

Rod Thorn says the Nets did think about sending him to Roanoke, but after injuries to Jeff McInnis and Lamond Murray, Wright has been getting time on the court and so they will keep him in New Jersey...at least for now. Thorn also said that in spite of the injuries, the Nets do not anticipate signing anyone to a 10-day contract. Meanwhile, Vince Carter and Jason Kidd remain noncommital about joining Team USA...with Carter saying, "We'll see".</div>
