Im sorry, but that kid Sasha should not be on the 12 man roster for the Lakers. He is taking up space.

He plays no defense whatsoever and he is turnover prone. I always see Kobe screaming at him for something. What does he do? Put his head down. No pride at all.

Send him to the development league. Free up a roster spot for someone with some kind of heart.

Hey man, you can criticize Sasha but you can't tell me he has no heart. That guy plays hard and is the peskiest defender the Lakers have. He's not their BEST defender but he bothers whoever he guards, for sure.

Sasha is a hard-nosed defender....he has to guard some tough PGs but he hasnt backed down...just look at his performance with AI....the kid can defend we are just waiting for his shot back

I like Sasha. If he can develop his shot a bit more, I see him being a pretty good three point specialist.

Im just not convinced he belongs on the roster at this point. Kobe always seems to be yelling at him, and he does nothing after he gets scolded. I'd like to see him keep his head high, and stay with it. Instead his head sinks and he sulks about it. I wish I had photos to show you what I mean.

I've seen flashes of good defense. Im not saying he's not a good player. He just needs more time in development.

    whoa whoa whoa

you are out of line here trench!

Sasha is a very nice contribution to the team, I'm surprised you say that Kobe always screams at him, because I think aside from Lamar Odom, Kobe is very good friends with Sasha and you can tell they got a strong bond.

Doesn't play defense? SCREW THAT, Sasha HUSTLES man! That guy plays some tough defense, and he definitely holds his own on the defensive end. He has made TONS of clutch 3 points that have helped us and he's a great motivation for the team.

I'm surprised you said Sasha and not Luke, not cause I don't like Luke but Luke tends to make lots of mistakes.

Don't be so hard on the poor guy, Kobe isn't yelling at the guy, it's just Tough Love.

Sasha hustles because he know's he has to. He can make three's but he's not a bona fide shooter that can rely on his jump shot for a roster spot. He's not their best defender but he plays energetic tough D.

As for Luke, he can't defend worth **** but he know's the triangle and has performed in HUGE games....that alone is worth a roster spot. IMO, Devean George and Luke Walton should never be traded because they know what to do in big games. They know how to play with Kobe, they know the triangle, and they know their spot. They have their flaws like everyone, but they prove their worth in the playoffs..

I guess with the limited games i've been able to actually watch, Sasha has not played well.

But Im open to everyones opinion. I'll keep a look out on the guy.

Your right about Walton though. His D makes me sick.

I hope lakers waive luke even though he knows the triangle offense, he's terrible on D and has no shot or confidence.

I don't know why lately he's been struggling. When he got back from his injuries he was playing pretty well, hitting almost every jumpshot, and throwing the passes around well.

Goodness gracious sakes alive. Will somebody release Luke Walton. Do something with him. Get rid of him via trade to Indiana. This is absolutely rediculous. And Lamar Odom needs to get rid of that fancy lay up and throw it down big man throw it down!

Do you guys think i can steal Bill Walton's Espn Gig? LMAO

You all know my feelings on Sasha, I cannot stand him. He had a nice little stretch of games earlier in the season, and I thought he was turning it around as a player, but now I know those games were just a fluke.

His defense is horrible, let's not overrate him on defense. He does hustle, and annoy other players, but aside from the occassional offensive foul he draws, he's completely lost on defense.

He cannot stay in front of his man, he still does not know how to defend and switch off on picks, and he gets backdoored all the time by other teams.

On offense he turns the ballover with weak, telegraphed passes. And he's only shooting 33% from the field. The worst part, are the shots he takes are WIDE OPEN looks created by Kobe or Odom. He's a two-way liability for the Lakers and I don't see any progress in his game.

Also, from some people I know, they've told me he's been getting destroyed by Von Wafer when the Lakers play Gold v. Purple in practice.

As for Luke Walton, he's not playing with any confidence at all. He needs stop staying out late and partying.

I want to see Von Wafer play more IF he can learn what is a good shot and when he should take it between jacking up shots and whatnot...if Wafer can play under control I could see him beating out both Walton and Sasha...

I think Wafer has to take more educated shots and drive to the hole more. Wafer in my opinion can turn into a another Devean George for us . Good Luck Von.
