Kobe Bryant's 81-point explosion against the Raptors got us thinking ... who in the League today has a shot at hitting 100? We came up with 10 guys who have the best shot at reaching Wilt.

    Interesting article.

I would move Amare ahead of Ray Allen.

I think Kobe and Iverson have a small chance at it, and for everyone else it's so miniscule as to barely be worth mentioning. A post player can not score 100 points in today's game. The Mavs are too well-rounded for Nowitzki to get anywhere close to 100 points. McGrady plays on the slowest paced team in the league where the Rockets as a team struggle to reach 90 points on most nights. LeBron doesn't have the mentality to take the 50+ shots necessary to get to 100.

Pretty stupid article if you ask me. None of those guys except for Kobe and perhaps LeBron in some years has a realistic shot at scoring a hundred. AI? He could shoot like he was going for 100, but he wouldn't hit like it.

Nobody has given a reason why Amare couldn't do it.

He's on one of the most fast paced unselfish teams in the league. Unlike Kobe and AI he has an advantage over ANYONE who is defending them. He's faster then the centers and bigger & stronger than the power forwards. Also, unlike AI and Kobe all of his shots are high percentage.

In addition to all of that, he doesn't have to create all of his own shots because he's playing with Nash. What's more, he has multiple scorers that defenses have to respect.

    He could do it.

Ehhhhh...nobody has a realistic shot at hitting 100, not even Kobe.
