...would he have made the All-stars? I know it's not much of a question and I don't think anybody really cares but I guess it's a better topic than the whole Eva/Tony/Ugly Wanda, I mean, Jamie Fox soap opera. So how about it? Any thoughts? Especially in the wake of friggin kobe's sick 81 point assault (I so wanted to use another word but I restrained myself, heh).
Probably not, only because his position is stacked in the West. I do feel Parker deserves to make the All-Star team though. He's having an amazing season and leads the league in points in the paint, as a PG. Him and Duncan are deserving, but not Gino.
I don't think he should have made it. It seems like me mails in too many games. In the OT win over the raptors, Tim was out and tony parker played awesome... but where was manu??? he finished the game with like 10 points.... was invisibe for a large stretch of the game. Thats not an all star, especially with Duncan out.....but hey, I don't exactly watch tons of Spurs games.
It's an off-year for Ginobli, for various reasons, more demands on him, injuries that affect his crowd-pleasing style of play. Definitely a star, but definitely would have been a stretch to award him as an "All Star" for this season. He may electrify in May and June, but has a way to go.
