<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">C.J. Miles has made such noticeable strides during his time in the D-League, the Jazz want him to remain there at least another week. "He really had a good weekend," Kevin O'Connor said of the Jazz's 18-year-old rookie, who has spent the past three weeks with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds. "We'd like to see him keep it going for a few games, get into a good rhythm." Miles scored 19 points in Albuquerque's loss to Austin on Saturday, including a short jumper to tie the score with 25 seconds remaining. The Thunderbirds are off until Saturday, but then their schedule gets busy, with five games in seven days. Miles will miss the Jazz's first visit to his hometown of Dallas this weekend. "It's a week-to-week thing right now. We're going to keep a close eye on him, and see how it goes," said O'Connor, the Jazz's senior vice president of basketball operations. "We could bring him back in a week or two and send someone else" to Albuquerque, presumably rookie guard Andre Owens. Miles is averaging 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in seven games with the Thunderbirds, and has hit 43.8 percent of his shots.</div> <div align="center">Source</div>
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Buckets:</div><div class="quote_post">Good to hear that he's improving, hopefully he can be a factor off the bench later in the season.</div> Not later in the season, maybe in 2 years though
In two years or so IMO he'll be capable of starting, Im not sure if he'll still be with the Jazz but I think he could be a starter in two years, not a 15 PPG guy but more like a 10 PPG, 3RPG, 3 APG kinda guy around that time, I think at his peak CJ will be one of the leagues best shooters, he strikes me of kinda like a Michael Redd.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Stockton:</div><div class="quote_post">Miles Update 29 minutes, 19 points, 5 rebounds and a start.</div> He did crappy for a while taking like 8-12 shots a game and was only getting about 2-4 to go in and was only scoring in single digits, another reason is because they have one of the best D-League guards on their team At least I think he is....
