The Saints and Vikings have always had themselves a field day on offense come gameday against each other. Last year's match up resulted in a 5 TD game by Dante' Culpepper while he lead his team to a 38-31 victory in the Superdome. Not to mention the 2002 game when the Vikes shot down the Saints playoff hopes by winning 32-31 in the final seconds of the game on a QB draw by Dante' Culpepper. The last five meetings are led by the Vikings 4-1, including a playoff victory in 2000, leaving bad taste after bad taste in the Saints mouths.

This year the Vikes find themselves in a bad spot starting out 0-2, leaving a very bad taste in their mouth, considering all the hype about losing Randy Moss. The image itself has probably been lingering in their heads and they probably want to prove to everyone that this team is just as good if not better without Randy Moss. So what better way to do it then take out a team that's been under your belt for years now. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, Dante' Culpepper has a passer rating of 41.6 and has thrown for 8 INT's, while their defense has allowed 424.5 yds a game and 30.5 points a game, eh........not to good, BUT we all know that Culpepper has the potential to make any game a big one, IF given the opportunity, and the Saints usually give him that opportunity.

The Saints, as we all know, are the inconsistent team that gives Saints fan rollercoaster rides for free all season long. They have the potential on paper, but usually not on the field. They'll beat a SB contending team one week and lose to a 0-15 team the next. They continue to have the image of being the mediocre team of the 21st century and NOW thanks to a little disaster in the city of New Orleans, they are considered "AMERICA'S TEAM". Lovely isn't it??? Enough about that though. The Saints started off their season very strong with a victory over the SB projected Panthers, but they went into week 2 against the Giants and were clearly beaten by the better team. They now have to face a huge challenge against a Viking team that has something to prove and won't let the Saints just march in and humialate them on their home field.

Both teams are out to prove something, it's up to who wants it more.

    Saints
    OFFENSE (7th)
    DEFENSE (16th)

    Vikings
    OFFENSE (24th)
    DEFENSE (30th)

I personally feel the Saints have a lot more heart than the Vikings... the Vikings havent shown much heart at all the last few years. (See going 2-8 the last 10 games of last season) I feel the Saints will walk away with this one and Culpepper will continue to struggle. Keep it up "America's Team". (Although it could be 1/2 America's team after this weekend, the Texans could be the other 1/2 of America's team)

[IMG] lol..............i don't see why we just can't let the Cowboys continue to keep that image.

Personally i hate the fact we are considered to be "AMERICA'S TEAM". It's rather pukey.
