    Sixers Lose 123-99

Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Game
    John Salmons
    [IMG]
    19 Points. 7-17 FG, 5-8 FT, 10 Rebounds, 4 Assist, 2 Steals, 3 TO
John Salmons was one of the only Sixers playing with any effort tonight. Igoudala was probably the only other. John Salmons continued to bring his A game in Iversons absence, but tonight it wasn't enough.

Philadelphia 76ers Player(s) of the Game
    Allen Iverson and Chris Webber

    60 Points, 22-41 FG, 16-17 FT, 13 Rebounds, 13 Assist, 5 Steals, 5 TO,
Chris Webber and Allen IVerson played a perfect two man game in IVersons debut after his 4 game sidelinging injury. Iverson and Webber seemed more in swync than ever during the season. It was a wonder to behold and truly a great game to watch as the number one NBA scoring duo unleashed its fury on the Cavs and even King James couldn't overcome it. Great win thanks to these two guys.

Seriously though I was Very very disapointed by our performance tonight. Even though the score differential was only by a margin of 6 we played like ****. We were shooting horribly and it wasn't all because of Houstons defense. WE were missing easy 5 feet open shots. Theo nly bright spots in this game was IVersons ability of getting to the line, Webber and DAlemberts rebounding. However our lack of defense on Yao, turnovers, shooting slupm especailly in the 4th overshadow those bright spots.

    Sixers Lose 100-92

Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Game
    Kyle Korver
    [IMG]
    20 Points. 7-13 FG, 1-1 FT, 1 Rebounds, 3 Assist, 1 Steal, 4 TO
Korver was the only bright spot for us in tonights game. Korver took advantage of the Zone defense the Bobcats were using on the Sixers and went 5-9 from three point range. It was good to see Kyle get out of his recent shooting slump he has been in. Yet it wasnt nearly enough to get a win over one of the worst teams in the league today.

If somebody wants to continue this be my guest. I'm really trying to make the Heat forum a top forum right now so it's going to be hard doing it for both.

Wizards game the Player of the Game is Allen Iverson, but I didn't catch the game so its just from looking at it from a boxscore perspective.

Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Game
    Allen Iverson

    42 Points, 9 Assist, 8 Rebounds, 17-37 FG, 8-8 FT, 2 Steal, 4 Turnovers
Iverson really had an amzing game. It was hard not to give this award dto Iggy who made up for Webbers rediculous attempt at a game winner, AGAIN. But in all honesty Iverson carried us throughout the game. He came up huge for us with his cuts from Webber and his hustle tonight impressed me. Definetly the Sixers biggest win of the season. Hopefully this is the start of soemthing good for Iverson and co.

Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Game
    Shavlik Randolph

    9 Points, 2-3 FG, 5-7 FT, 1 Assist, 1 Steal, 2 Blocks, 0 TO
I'm giving this to Shavlik based purely on heart. Even though we got our asses blown out Shavlik Randolph continued to play his hardest even though it was obvious what the outcome of the game would be. He was working hard in a very ugly game by the Sixers who played without life.

Our offense always seems to be clicking against the Cavs and tonight certainly was not an exception. Perfect OFfensive ball distribution tonight with 3 guys getting at least 24 points. IGgy carried his stron ASG Weekend over to this game. Hopefully it is good for things to come.

Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Game
    Kyle Korver

    31 Points, 10-17 FG(4-7 from downtown), 7-7 FT, 2 Rebounds
Kyle Korver was doing just what we wanted him to do. Be a pure shooter that can finish for us on the offensive end. He also had a career night and the most amazing thing is that it was with Kyle coming off of the bench. He also was agressive enough to get to the line and sink some extra points for us. He also was pretty good on the defensive end drawing countless charges.

Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Game
    Allen Iverson

    38 Points, 11-23 FG(1-1 from Downtown), 15-22 FT, 5 Assist, 4 Rebounds, 4 Steal, 1 TO, 46 Minutes
Iverson had an amazing game today and took care of the ball well despite playing all but 2 minutes of this game. I think the transition to the 2 guard has really helped AI with the ball responsibilities. He doesn't have to dominate the ball anymore. He had soem crucial forced turnovers in todays game and it helped us seal the game.
