Just saw it on SC, Stephen A reported that Artest does not want to go to Sac. now. Indiana has also rejected the deal too. I`ll look for a link...
Stephen A. Smith: THE DEAL FOR ARTEST IS OFF, THE KINGS REJECTED DAT DEAL, IT'S NO MORE, DONE, WHY ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT ME, WHAT? I'M SCREAMING? HUH? OH sorry, ok, yeah, so the Kings/Pacers trade is no longer going to happen, sorry, I didn't realize I was yelling.
I don't get Artest...I think he's done in the NBA, if he doesn't go the Knicks, I think he'll refuse to play anywhere.
YES! The Lakers still have hope. I think it's more like Artest rejected the Kings, but the Kings don't want to lose face. Sort of like ... "You're Fired!" "You can't fire me, because I QUIT!"
I don't understand this. Who care's what Artest thinks? Don't players that don't report get fined a lot of money so its not like he has too much of a choice in this. Is there something I'm missing here? Anyways, I thought Pacers could have gotten more for him anyway.
This really is kind of amazing by Artest, I mean it's not like the guy is Magic Johnson or John Stockton or somebody that everyone would love to have on their team, you'd think that he would be happy that someone's giving his lame ass a chance to play again. This guy's even dumber than we had first thought, which is pretty amazing
No Artest is a genius he is lowering his trade value for the inevitable Slava for Artest blockbuster.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">No Artest is a genius he is lowering his trade value for the inevitable Slava for Artest blockbuster.</div> Mitch had better pull it off now.
I am getting goosebumps. I can almost see artest wants kobe. Or maybe kobe's 81 showed artest that kobe needs help.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">Stern is going to fine Artest badly for this.</div> I don't know, that might be double jeopardy in this case because Artest was already fined for demanding a trade in the first place. Demanding a trade = $10,000 fine Refusing to report after being traded = $10,000 fine Ron Artest's Tru Warier haircut = PRICELESS

Seriously It's childish. Ron hasn't played since december yet he wants to be picky where he wants to play? please...he's not Shaq, he doesn't have the abilty to choose where he goes.
I've just thought of something. Maybe what Artest really wants is to finish and work on his music career. Why else would he demand a trade (knowing very well he'll be benched), then say he doesn't want to go (who knows why he did this), then turn down this deal (get more time for his album). It seems the brawl and this trade thing is actually turning out pretty well for him. But really, who can figure out whats going through Artests' mind.
"Welcome to Circuit City!" "My name is Ron, you can call me Tru Warier." "I'm here to help you with your purchase." "What type of T.V. were you looking for?" "This model right here is the most durable. Nothing will damage it, it just won't break, and believe me I've tried." "Also I recommend this CD. Yeah that's me on the cover. I give it 5 mics."
Shape, you crack my ass up man. Your posts in this thread gave me a good laugh THANK GOD!!!!! LAKERS STILL HAVE HOPE FOR ARTEST W0000T!!!!
I don't know how you can want Artest now, he was given another shot and he turns it down. This is disgusting.
