<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post"> Talk about awkward moments when Peja finds his way back to his teammates. This would be a great Southwest commercial ... "Wanna get away?"</div> Man you got a nice sense of humor, Shape..
New Deal: Lakers trade Kobe for: Artest, Jermaine, Rick carlisle, Croshere, AJ, Stepehn Jackson, and it said that Larry bird is willing to come out of retirement.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting K8B:</div><div class="quote_post">DNP - You've been Punk'd Ashton Kutcher's back!</div> ahaah, that's the best one ever
The trade negotiations are preliminary and are not a finalized deal. Neither player has balked at the possibility. The considerations and financial repercussions for teams can ripple for years and must be well thought through by the legal minds. I think Artest would like to play in the Western conference for a team whose owners love their players. Peja needs a fresh start and with Rick Carlisle and Larry Bird he can be the man he was in 2003-2004. I have always thought the Kings bungled the return of Chris Webber. Peja was like a Porsche which was put up in the garage when Webber returned. The Maloofs should have traded Webber right away or packaged Peja and Christie within 3 months of the obvious terrible team chemistry.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AznxBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't understand this. Who care's what Artest thinks? Don't players that don't report get fined a lot of money so its not like he has too much of a choice in this. Is there something I'm missing here?</div> Well, if you're the Toronto Raptors you pay to buyout Alonzo's contract and give in to his demands for a trade when he refuses to report after a trade. Seriously, players are given way too much power nowadays. They should not be able to determine where they want and don't want to play.
After Ron Artest tells the Indiana Pacers he doesnt want to be traded to the Kings tommorow morning, the Pacers will beg the Lakers for a trade that would send Artest + Croshere for Lamar Odom.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dtpxcore:</div><div class="quote_post">Come on Mitch pull something off for Artest, just one little move .</div> He should be fired if he doesnt!
Artest is going to a meeting on Wednesday to try to revive the deal. But, Artest says NO no matter what. We'll see what happens.
this thread is too funny. many props to Shape just for making me laugh. Ohh man, but who does ron think he is? where is he gonna go? and I don't htink ti really makes anyting THAT much diffferent with the kings(a few games and everything will be back to normal), I mean wasn't it no big secret that predrag wanted out?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">No Artest is a genius he is lowering his trade value for the inevitable Slava for Artest blockbuster.</div> So very true. He is officially my LEAST favorite player BY FAR! I geniunely hope the worst for him. Kick him out of the league for good Stern. SAC will look pretty to good to Artest when hes ballin in Turkey.

About the music - I hope he never makes a cd... I heard one of his songs and I was like that's the lameness of Chingy and the awful lyrics of G-unit combined. All of these NBA-rappers should quit because they have nothing to rap about. I also heard Kobe, Shaq and Iverson rap... all garbage.
