That is just pathetic. I'm sure Allen will have some words for Nailon when he sees him.

Allen has no room to speak, at all. Iverson tosses his wife out on the street, he is just as bad.

That story was blown out of proportion by the media, and if you saw his appearance on quite frankly he cleared it all up. Quote “ I don’t want anyone to see my wife naked why would I throw her out my house for the whole world to see?” Anyway, if he is found guilty of domestic abuse I would waive him if it was up to me. Beating up a women is an inexcusable crime.

Exactly. I've also heard rumors that his wife was naked when he did that.

Wow, you guys have no idea what you're talking about with Allen's situation. Everything they said was false... he didn't throw his wife out of the house naked, at all. Even if he did, what's worse? Throwing your wife out of the house or beating her? The answer is obvious.

Some people really need to watch that interview he did with Stephen A. Smith. Well you could have at least read BKS post.

I saw the interview. He said something along the lines of "Why would I do that? That's my wife, I don't want anyone in the world to see her naked but me."

You guys are giving him more credit than he deserves just because he is a celebrity. Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe he lied in the interview [IMG] ?

If I was the GM at the time when his incident happened I would have traded him. Nothing against Kidd or what he does on the court, and he has straightened it out with his wife, but I personally believe beating ones spouse is one of the worst crimes a man can commit. This is not the first time this has happened with Nailon either he was arrested for allegedly assaulting a former girl friend as well as marijuana possession,

But don't you think some people are giving him a lot of heat just because he had a bad rep before that incident. After all it is...

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Exactly. I've also heard rumors that his wife was naked when he did that.</div>

And I'm sure you know about how the media has been dogging him since day one. The cornrows, tattoo's etc. If this was really true don't you think there would be a picture of his wife naked? The media is always on his case. Also in that interview, he let it all out. You saw his TRUE character in that interview, from laughs to tears and do you sincerly see him kicking his wife out the house naked with a gun in his hand consider that he also had kids at the time? I'm not saying the guy is perfect or anything, but come on. This was just a little twist the media added to the story so it can a lot of attention and apparently it worked to perfection.

No, are you kidding? There are plenty of ways that the media could have gotten that info. It could have simply been written in the police report. Just because an athlete does something doesn't mean that there's a picture of it.

Yeah the media has been giving him a hard time, but it comes with the territory. Even if he was clean cut with no tats and a fade instead of 'rows, they still would attack him because of his fg% (in the past) or something.

I don't buy into all the media hype, but you can't do the opposite either. You can't assume that everything about him is just made up by the media because they hate him.

Damn, I can't beleive how people can say stuff about this.

Is Lee the only guy who ever got in a fight with his wife? Is he the only professional athlete to go to jail? No. Funny how this turned into something about Iverson.

Cause, just like there's Kobe haters, there's a healthy amount of Iverson haters also.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Philadelphia 76ers forward Lee Nailon was released from jail on bail yesterday - a day after being arrested on charges of assaulting his wife. But he will not immediately rejoin the team.

Billy King, 76ers president, said Nailon will remain inactive so he can "focus more on his personal issues." Nailon will not be practicing with the team, he said.

"As an organization, we don't condone domestic violence of any sort," King said. "These are serious allegations - but at this point in time, I think, from an organizational standpoint, we've got to let the legal system run its course."

Nailon, 30, was arrested on charges of simple assault and harassment Tuesday after Lower Merion police responded to Nailon's Wynnewood residence, where, authorities say, he attacked his wife, Marti.

He faces a preliminary hearing at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Bala Cynwyd.

Bala Cynwyd Magisterial District Justice Karen Zucker arraigned Nailon by video yesterday. He was held overnight at the Lower Merion police station. Zucker set bail at $25,000, and Nailon posted 10 percent.

"He seems to be holding up pretty well, under the circumstances," Adrian Moody, Nailon's attorney, said after the 10-minute arraignment.

As a condition of bail, Nailon is to have no contact with his wife, who has left the house Nailon rents on Strawbridge Court.

"I think she flew back home," Nailon said, referring to the couple's other home in Wichita, Kan.

Zucker also ordered that Nailon surrender his passport.

An affidavit of probable cause states that police were called to Nailon's home about 1:45 Tuesday afternoon. An officer noticed that Marti Nailon had a bloody lip, redness on her neck, and cuts on her left elbow.</div>
