After hearing "breaking news" about Ron Artest become a King earlier in the day, how many of you hit the waiver wire adding Artest? Who did you drop for him? Share your horror stories and disappointment with us.
Haha! Good thread idea. I didn't pick him up today, but I trade Kyle Korver for him a couple weeks ago. I had plenty of other three point shooters and that's all Korver was (inconsistanly) doing for my team. I still think Artest will be great when he comes back, that's why I traded for him. Did anyone pick up Artest today?
Yeea, I picked him up, but I only dropped Jose Calderon so its no biggie. I'm still not going to drop him though. Just got the feeling that theres a trade coming soon.
Oh man, no one dropped Artest in any of my leagues. I didn't feel like trading for him either. He's a good player, but I've lost so much respect for him. He cost Reggie a title last year!! That was the Pacers year...Miller Time could have ended his career with winning it all. Anyway you guys are lucky if you added him from the FAs. So far he's doing really good.
yeah he is little cocky i thing. too much arrogant for a nba player in my mind anyway. not sure if he cost reggie a title though but still.

I'd have been shocked if he was available in any leagues. I didn't own him, but if i did he'd have been safely tucked away all through the trade saga.
he was never waived in my league...i doubt any advanced players would do that...but in yahoo public people do it but again..yahoo public (unless it's a solid winners league) is too easy
