More damn threes!! Damn. The Warriors just don't care anymore. Work the ball inside before you go outside. Jeez. Fundamentals! The team is playing like idiots again. Even if Murphy is not an inside scorer, you put anybody on the block that can at least catch it, move off the ball around a screen, hit the midrange shot, drive against the zone, pull up for a midrange jumper. Just because the team zones up doesn't mean you can't drive it or find the gaps in between. Even if we had Larry Brown, they'd still be bad. It's all the players and the lack of depth for rebounding, interior defense. I hope by all-star break we see a big difference in how this team plays together. When will the Warriors realize that long twos and threes often lead to easy lay-ins going the other way? The Warriors NEED to drive that frigging ball or they'll end up losing like they have the last two games. Unfortunately, Baron is the only addition that does that on this team.

Also screens set by our bigs are too far out, too late, too soft, coming off too early, ughhh...

 

Has a team ever never scored a FG in a quarter?

All 4 points have been FT's. No FG's with under 3 min. left.

The warriors are getting so predictable, that I don't have to watch any of the games.

They need to use the bench players a bit better, to give the starters some rest if nothing else. But it doesn't help that the bench is providing nothing, but also they haven't gotten much of a chance.

 

I'm bored.

It's weird how Monty substitutes players in for like one minute and takes them out. How are they supposed to do anything? I've noticed he likes to do this with Biedrins at the end of the 1st half a lot.

 

Pietrus even misses the dunk. Bad bad bad. Well look at this way Warrior fans, the only huge addition to the club was Baron Davis and only Baron Davis. I don't think Baron can even make this club better singlehandedly. They need a team that complements each other. Right now we don't have the offensive rebounding, inside play, defense to support the guard play. We don't box out, we don't set good screens, we don't move well off the ball, we don't defend easily in one-on-one situations or help defense coming off screens. Mullin's got to do something because the Warriors are faced with the scary reality of what our talent is. Bad freethrow shooting power guards and slow, finesse outside shooting big men, counting on inconsistent rookies off the bench, and only one player that can create his own shot with the ball in traffic anytime he wants. Dallas doesn't even have a true playmaker on that squad except for maybe Devin Harris but they kick our ass defensively, on the glass, and one-on-one isolations.

 

Boy are we screwed.

We are stuck with this crap core for another 6 years.

Looks like 17+ years of missing the playoffs.

 

Why can't baron davis do that everytime? just drive to the basketball for a layup and if there is a lot of defends just pass out. It works perfectly. Another disappointing loss after a nice lead. Just WoW. No more playoffs, lets just try to get a good pick.
