All these NBA insiders were predicting a domino effect after Ron Artest was finally traded. There have been a lot of rumors circulating around this season, and with the trade deadline right around the corner you have to imagine some player movement will take place. There's also been several NBA crybabies demanding trades, starting from the scrub levels of Skita (yeah he's actually still in the league) up to the star caliber players like Steve Francis. With the parity in the league this year, one player could mean the difference to making the playoffs and making the lottery. Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Bucks, Pacers, Cavs ... basically any team in the playoff race or on the bubble. Also how about the players with grandfather contracts set to expire? Penny Hardaway ?? Antonio Davis ?? Tim Thomas ?? You have to imagine the GMs with these players are hustling to get a deal done. Post your trade scenarios. Please try to be as realistic as possible.
^ a lot of teams he has a expiring contract so they free up space to get free agents i think francis and rose are gone
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting UnLeAsHeD:</div><div class="quote_post">Jalen Rose to NY for Penny... Mark Blount to Minny for Kandi...</div> I doubt the Raptors would want to give up Jalen Rose for Penny now that he's playing like he did last year. I'm pretty sure Jalen'll fetch more than just an expiring contract. A lot of teams need a shooting guard who can score on the block and could be willing to take on Rose's contract.

They'd have to give me a 1st to take Rose and his contract for an expiring.
I don't see Rose going to L.A. but I do see him leaving. I also wouldn't be suprised if Steve Francis gets traded.

The Raptors aren't going to be big players in the free agent this summer so getting an expiring contract would mean nothing except saving the team $15 million. Their plan is for 2007 and they don't care if they get an expiring contract this summer. It's not like they're desperately shopping Rose, and it's Isiah who likes him.
