Ever since the Sacramento Kings brought Peja Stoyakovic to their team, they have had nothing but major injuries to key players. JBB Member, harbingerofdoom coined their tagline "Leading the league in key injuries since 2001." The list of players who have been injured in Sacramento is mindboggling and now it appears the Peja curse has made it's way to Indiana. Not a day sooner do the Pacers trade Ron Artest for Peja, they find out today, Jermaine O'neal will be out for the next 8 weeks. Coincedence? I think not.
Haha, Peja is definitely not always the best guy to have on your team. The only thing bad about this theory is that the Pacers are always having injury issues. Between JO, and Tinsley I don't know if they've played 82 games together over the past two years. I remember when Webber was out and Peja had a great season, an MVP candidate. He followed it up by averaging about 9ppg in the playoffs that year, shooting a horrendous percentage. This is the guy that the Pacers decided to pick up? Every year the Pacers seem to have an excuse for why they didn't win the championship. They just rented a 6'10 excuse for why they won't win it this year.
