Not good so far. Foyle's fumbling, stumbling when he's the only guy open in the paint, plus we never win an opening tipoff with him. If you can't get tipoffs then you probably can't rebound over somebody if you also don't know anything about establishing positioning or bodying up on someone. Then we got Pietrus in there picking up some really dumbass fouls. Two hands on the back, crowding a ballhandler for a steal without giving him at least a step to drive. Not smart, and now he's out in the first 5 minutes of regulation.

We just got some players that think like rookies and guys who play soft or don't know what the hell they're doing out there. We're lucky Odom is in foul trouble and the rest of the Lakers aren't doing much to stop us defensively. We're just trading buckets.

Hopefully Dunleavy's ankle isn't too bad.

Beidrins has to know better, he has to have the highest fouls to minutes played ratio in the league

Pietrus and Biedrins both get in stupid foul trouble. Also, Ike and Montay Ellis tend to overhelp on the team defense.

One thing I hate about this game is the referees aren't calling the game consistently. We get hammered by somebody, but the other team gets touch fouls in their favor. What is up with this ref crew?

Everyone on the Lakers gets a free pass. I'm sure Stern wants them back in the playoffs, hes probably giving extra vacation time to the res for screwing the other teams over.

That call on Bdiddy for the "offensive foul" makes you wonder.

For anyone wondering why we can't run more often, look at how long it takes for Foyle to gather a rebound. He bobbled it for 3 seconds it seemed like before he finally had control of the rebound. Unbelievable.

It also seems like the more presence of young guys on the floor means more quick fouls and more turnovers.

We're just lucky its a single digit ball game and Kobe isn't bending us over, going for 82. Thank goodness our defense isn't like the Raptors.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about. That was right after Kobe got the technical foul too. Players shouldnt be rewarded for getting technicals, or else Ron Artest would be the poster boy of the NBA.

Is it just me or does Foyle look like he's put on like 20 lbs?

It seems like he varies from day to day. Hes like an ameoba, as Dane Cook would say, he isn't fat hes just shapes.

I don't know but he looks incredibly slow and ungainly. Warriors have the lead, but I don't think they'll hold it for very long. We just have no depth anymore after injuries and in general. Nobody gets any rest, especially Baron Davis.

Two fouls already on Foyle for moving screens. Goddamit, my kingdom for a big man who knows how to set a screen!

Holy crap did you see how high Montay Ellis got up there? He stole the ball from Smush Parker (intercepted pass to Kobe) and ran the ball all the way down for a two handed dunk. What athleticism!

Yeah, when I was at the Clipper game on Monday during warmups he tried to throwdown a windmill where he had to get his head about 4 inches above the rim. Hes super-athletic, lightning quick, can jump out of the gym, and hes pretty smart on the court.

Are you sure 4 inches above the rim??? I mean only a few players can do head level with the rim or slightly above, but not guys 6'3. Vince Carter and Lebron James can do head at the rim but they're 6'6 or taller. Nobody has done 4 inches above the rim, I think.
